There are times I question the number of rounds fired by the police but the alleged robber asked for the whole magazine by shooting the clerk. If he was that ready to shoot the clerk,he was ready and intending to kill the clerk ,so the correct response is kill him so he can't shoot me again.It is possible to fire several shots per second and if the robber is slow to fall I can see the clerk emptying his gun.

Actually, telling entrance from exit wounds can be difficult. I knew a man who was shot with a .25 eight times, including three through the navel, and he had more holes in him... Which was which was anybody’s guess.

In any event, a little over two weeks later he got out of the hospital and was exercising to speed recovery. The first I heard was when he was dressing out in the dressing room, and “what the heck happened to you?”

He admitted to being “a bit creaky”. That was the day I swore I would never own a .25.
