New Jersey waitress Dayna Morales was expecting a tip after serving a party of four on Wednesday, but instead, she found a hurtful handwritten note.
“I’m sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle and the way you live your life," the note read.
Deeply offended, Morales, who is a lesbian, posted the receipt to Facebook, and then sent it to LGBT group Have a Gay Day's Facebook page, where it racked up over 3,000 comments and quickly made its way around the web.
"I'm a server at Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, NJ and THIS is what happened to me today," she wrote, alongside the photo. "NEVER in a million years did I think this would happen...I am THOROUGHLY offended mad pissed off and hurt that THIS is what her kids will grow up learning and that I served in the Marines to keep ignorant people like them free."

I’d like to see a picture of the waitress, to see if I would want MY children around it. And I usually try to leave a tip, even if the server was marginal.
But I really wonder about the server - her appearance and behavior. Did she try to introduce the children to the wonderful world of lesbianism? Is her appearance edgy enough to make a parent nervous?
I could choose to shave my head into a spiked Mohawk, tattoo a swastika on my forehead, and wear a toga. But if I decide to make such a ‘statement’ with my appearance, I shouldn’t be surprised if people keep their children away from me.

How does she assume that the customers “know” her to be a lesbian? Was she gabbing openly, while serving them, about her personal sex life with women?
If not, what does she think tipped them off? Short hair? Is she assuming the myriad of stereotypes about lesbians (which we are all supposed to not notice, ignore, and, fee bad about if we do) in making this claim? Did she have a buzz cut, an Adam’s Apple, and, a tatoo that said “Mom” on her arm?

First thought: Is this a hoax, like the one a few weeks ago, and the ‘victim’ hopes to cash in, like the ‘victim’ from the Red Lobster incident?
Second thought: Why would any client/customer accept being served, and then write such a comment? If they are opposed to the lifestyle, they should have refused to be seated and left the establishment.
