We ain’t seen nothing yet. Just wait until 50 million “Progressives” lose their insurance come October 2014, and then find out their new KommieKare plan costs twice as much, has triple the out-of-pocket, and their doctor/hospital network looks like a Medicaid plan.

BTW, I have been told that Medicare rates have not increased, and that is a good thing, but Obie is gutting Medicare by 680 billion dollars over the next 10 years, so how long will those medicare premiums stay down?
I was kinda counting on Medicare when I retire.
Will it still be there?

My view is that SocSec and Medicare will not go away, they will become significantly “means tested”.
Since nobody knows how that will look, it’s difficult to predict.
And if the Death Panels are “successful”, each year trimmed from the lifespan is a HUGE plus for the SocSec and Medicare budgets.

Still thinking it means free healthcare on demand - that’s where they are.

I agree. They will not go away, but means testing concerns me.
They already have their nose under the tent.
Who the heck thought getting the IRS involved in healthcare was a good idea?
Jeez I can’t take a bath without a couple of feds jumping in there with me!

BTW the knuckleheads in Tx just passed a bill that strips 2 billion dollars from the rainy day fund to help realtors get rich by controlling water rights.
The poor old east Texas guy with fifty acres will have his well taxed so they can make money building new city colonies.
Grrrr...

That’s interesting.
Of course city interests greatly outrank ag interests in population.
But ag interests are typically VERY connected at the legislative level.

That will be a sad lonely day.

Water rights have been a point of contention throughout history.
But the knuckleheads in Texas just voted down Freedom.

Tipping point passed. The collapse is well underway.
Democrats know Obama is too damned stubborn to ever acknowledge the facts. Look for them to head for the exits soon.

Repeal the whole damn thing, and leave us alone!
