And, I am a little miffed at the neighbor for seemingly under reacting to the little boy running up to him saying he was hungry. I would have been ALL OVER what the hell was going on in that incident and bought the boy 5 pizzas on the spot while waiting on the cops and the pizzas to get there! A kid complaining about being hungry isn't always a sign of abuse. My kids could eat someone out of house and home and they were well fed. Especially when they were doing the swim team, their food intake doubled and they were always hungry.

When I was a kid I had some nice chickens, dog killed them. My mom, got one of the dead chickens, took some twine and tied it to the dogs neck, she dragged that dead chicken around of 3 days until my mom took it off.
That dog NEVER went near a chicken again, if fact if one dies of natural causes and she seen it, she’d go hide.

Wanda Sue Larson, a supervisor with the Union County Department of Social Services, and Dorian Lee Harper, an emergency room nurse at CMC-Union in Monroe, face charges of intentional child abuse inflicting serious injury, false imprisonment, and cruelty to animals. I'll bet both these lowlifes are democrats...

Nevermind the fact this lady was a government worker. In charge of investigating child abuse, no less.
Homeschoolers need to hammer that point home.

A long-time county Health department worker let her sister sit in a chair for three weeks before finally calling for the life squad. The sister died of infections. Dead sister was grossly obese, firefighters had to remove her through a window from extremely cluttered house.Happened in a town not far from Cincinnati. Both sister in their 60s.Government people cover for each other and way too many government people are lazy and corrupt.

How many days did you leave it around his neck? Until it starts to smell?

I may have to try that. I have a dog that plays pretty rough with the chickens and I am afraid she is going to eventually kill one.

Kid had to know that was coming when Momma caught him choking his chicken.

"I missed the part about homeschooling. I noted that she was a government worker, social services no less." Correct, not in this article, but all over the morning local TV coverage here with the "concern" over lack of enough homeschool inspections in NC.
To: Sopater
"Homeschoolers need to hammer that point home." Agreed.
To: B4Ranch
I left it until it fell off. Six or seven days maybe?
