I work at the massive Amazon Customer Service Center a few miles from the casa for now. I’m doing forty hour weeks, M-F (9-6), last week and next, while I’m training and then I’ll go to 4/10’s by request - Tue, Thur, Fri and Sat (noon - 11). It’ll cramp my Canteening for a while, but I need Wed and Sun off for my position at church. They’ll probably show me the door after January, at least that’s the plan. Everyone works Christmas Eve and Christmas Day of course and it’s downhill from there. If I can distinguish myself as a Amazonian, I may be able to trade my temp badge for a permanent one, but they’ve been running hundreds of new hires through training every week for a while - so it’s a longshot.
