Our strategy is to head off the efforts by the GOP establishment to make Ted Cruz "radioactive."
That's what they are trying to do with Cruz, with Lee, with Justin Amash. Only thing is that they probably never conceived ObamaCare would turn out to be as bad as it's been on so many fronts.
You'd be amazed - or perhaps you wouldn't - at how many conservatives and even tea partiers have felt scared off that they can't publicly support Cruz because he did so much damage to the GOP and the conservative movement, blah, blah, blah...
So who our target audience is people who should be pro-Cruz, or at least receptive to his message, who have been scared off by those who want to push the Tea Party out of the GOP for good.
Given that Matt Bevin just completely blew out McConnell in a Kentucky Republican straw poll, perhaps those fears are overblown media creations.
Yup. Best we not let the MSM define our strategy. Cruz isn't.
Here is that data on Bevin: Matt Bevin Takes over 80% of Vote in Kentucky Straw Poll. He didn't win by just a bit.
*PING* Ted Cruz to be “thanked” in TV ad campaign airing on Thanksgiving holiday.
Perhaps someone should point out that leadership works by example...
