Revolt is coming.

If they keep pushing, yes.

Connecticut is a lovely state, but it is NOT the state that I grew up in. The Democrats of Ella Grasso (who I knew) does not exsist there anymore.

In the despotic state, the armed man STILL GETS TO VOTE!

Registration leads to confiscation.

See California, they are in that process right now.

Seems that the kid legally owned 2 hand guns, had a gun recently outlawed by Malloy and now sits in jail. At least I got Tuesday off from work.

This tells me that previously law abiding citizens are ignoring the law, driven to criminality to protect themselves.

Our unfettered legislatures are busy making EVERY citizen a criminal; effectively robbing the people of rights that cannot be removed because of our “pesky” Bill of Rights. For every new law passed, our freedom decreases & more of us become criminals as our previously legal behavior is now illegal.

Think about it. A felon may not own a gun, leaving him defenseless against both criminals & an oppressive government. A felon's home & property may be searched without a search warrant. A felon may not vote without a government approved pardon. Other restrictions limit the freedom of a felon.

So, what better way to create a nation of disenfranchised sub-citizens (slaves) than to pass so many laws that no citizen can even know what the laws are, much less avoid violating them?

Case in point: There are public beaches in the US where walking a dog is a FELONY, subject to heavy fines & imprisonment. Such a law is intended to protect bird & turtle nesting areas. Such a law punishes innocent people, ignorant of the restriction, with no malicious intent, having harmed nothing. Apparently, even the possibility of disturbing a nest is more important than the civil rights of citizens. Nonsense!

I believe the fatal flaw of our republic is an unfettered Congress combined with liberal, biased courts that will not enforce the Constitution. The result is creeping tyranny, ending in totalitarianism. Obamacare exemplifies this flaw. What's next?

Registered weapons soon become CONFISCATED WEAPONS.

Just ask New Yorkers, not to mention all of the victims of fascism and communism.

Someone should suggest that the CT govenment dredge the CT River, Mystic River, Thames River, Housatonic River and all other bodies of water (Lake Zoar, etc) in order to find the “missing” guns.

I grew up in CT

I left when Lowell P. Weicker (R) ran on the NO STATE INCOME TAX platform and put one through in less than a year.

The Second Amendment doesn’t say anything about registration.

The Second Amendment doesn’t say anything about registration.

It does once you figure out that gun registration poses a threat to the security of a free state.

The Bill Of Rights DOES NOT say: "The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of these articles."

There are methods in the Constitution for changing it. Unless and until these are undertaken, I'm not registering a damned thing.

The 2A’s application to gun registration is that it insures we’ll be able to shoot anyone that tries it if we have to.

I know an ex-felon who cleaned up his act, petitioned the Court and had his felony removed from his record. Cost $1500.00 He now legally owns unregistered firearms.

I just wish that the Tom Scott supporters (and I was there for Tom Scott) stayed together. I think Tom Scott supporters was the first CT Tea Party.

Election night '94, the Hartford Courant took a picture of me celebrating the news of a GOP takeover in the house as I was at Tom Scott's HQ on the berlin Turnpike.

Weicker was a RINO and when I met him in '73 on a class trip, he was bragging that he was the youngest Senator ever elected from CT. If I knew now what I do, I would tell him that he is a F'ing a$$.

I was at the repeal the income tax rally that took place at the capital.

What happened to those people at the rally?? Did we all leave CT?

I was at that rally. Yes, I left. Now in SW Colorado. A long journey, but I now live in a very safe place.

In the middle of a tribal land and allowed open carry anywhere I choose.

Very safe and comfortable.
