The New York City Police Department is taking aim at owners of certain shotguns and rifles, telling them all long guns with a five-round or more capacity must be turned in, altered or taken out of town.
An estimated 500 recipients of the notices, which were mailed on Nov. 18, were given the options to surrender their gun, permanently move the gun out of city jurisdiction or employ a licensed gunsmith to modify the weapon to get into compliance with the law. Rifles and shotguns with a capacity of five or more rounds are affected.

I can see a business opportunity here.
Open up a storage facility for people in blue states to store their weapons..........

Would you need an FFL for that?

The key here is why gun registration is our enemy of freedom.
They are using the registrations to confiscate the guns.

What, exactly, is a multi-clip gun?I was trying to figure that out, as well. Two interpretations: 1. shotguns with shell carriers mounted on receiver or butt stock 2. journalist ignorantly talking out his butt. My money's on 2.

If you’re a business taking possession of a firearm I think you’d need an FFL. If you’re a business selling storage and the renter controls access then you wouldn’t.

Don’t register them, and buy private.

There are ‘devices’ which hold two or more magazines together while attached to the gun. Ruger 1022’s have a three ten round mag device, and there are numerous devices available to band two or more AR/M4 style mags together. But given the ignorance level of the media drones who are tasked with writing such foolishness, it is anybody’s guess what is meant.
