‘Mandela signer faced murder rap in 2003’ (also kidnapping and rape)
The Times of Israel / The Associated Press ^ | December 13, 2013

The schizophrenic South African sign language interpreter who said he hallucinated during Nelson Mandela’s memorial on Tuesday reportedly has an extensive criminal record, including murder, rape and kidnapping charges.

According to South African news network eNCA, Thamsanqa Jantjie has “faced rape (1994), theft (1995), housebreaking (1997), malicious damage to property (1998), murder, attempted murder and kidnapping (2003) charges.”(continued)

The problem was...the secret service acted like South Africa had a normal, decent, competent government.

Who could blame them, according to the media, its all sweetness and light over there.

And its not just the signer. Another report states that security guards for the event were hired the night before...right off of the street (literally). The same report also states that this same sign clown had worked before for President Zuma’s speeches...and nobody in the entire f’ing country was competent enough to notice it was fake.

This is what we get when PC prevents people from noticing (out loud) incompetence, when skin color is involved.

Agree, the SS really screwed up. Friend of mine is retired SS...couldn’t believe the crowd BEHIND Obama, something he says is never done...there is always supposed to be a wall or a curtain in the rear 180 degrees of the POTUS podium. Heads should roll. (Of course I thought the guy that threw the shoe at Bush should have been gunned down, what do I know?)

Obama should feel perfectly at ease with this criminal around him because that describes a good portion of his supporters.

Damn. You mean we came that close to ending this chapter of our nightmare?

We just can't catch a break.

Probably weren’t that many people in the audience who could understand both the spoken phrases and the message communicated by the signer. The discrepancy would then have been noticed almost immediately.

Or maybe they just thought he was communicating in one of the Tribal dialects.

Either way, setting a loose cannon this close to the various high personages is an act of almost distressing hostility on the part of the person who assigned him to the position.

No conspiracy here, folks. But there was more than enough stupid to go around.

“Okay, why do I feel like this was all put into place,”

Simple answer.

This is almost an exact repeat of the “party crashers” in 2009 after which the MSM began talking about how the Secret Service was chock-a-block full of racist that would like to see the first black president assassinated.

We’ve heard it before the details are just different.

Didn’t I read that this guy made $10,000 for that one day?..No. HE made $85 bucks. U.S. probably paid 10,000 more for his services because we have a lot of fake money to throw around.

This is better every day! Here we have a guy on the podium waving his hand around and not really saying anything, and then they have a signer up there too.

But we need for Whoopi to chime in and say whether it was ‘rape’ rape.

The other day, Whoopi and the rest of the herd on "The View" were imitating the guy, running around the stage laughing and using fake sign language to the audience and viewers at home. After they came back from a commercial, they made a half-hearted apology, explaining they weren't making fun of the deaf, but were making fun of the interpreter from the Mandela ceremony. Of course that will be the end of it. As we all know, had it been anyone else, people would have been fired, or at the very least, ordered to attend sensitivity training.

of course it just struck me that this may not have been an unintentional event at all.

they get shooters here in the US to add that panache of CRISIS to the events of the day fairly often ...whats to stop them from having recruited this schmuck to give evidence that the President needs to be isolated from the “common man”?
