In Texas you certainly can. Use of deadly force to prevent a felony or to protect someone from bodily harm is quite legal.
I wouldn’t want to try it in Dallas, or Austin, or Houston, or San Antonio, or El Paso. You will get a democrat DA who could care less what the law is and will pursue a case, even a losing one, just to punish you for defending yourself against one of Obama’s sons. Keep in mind the laws in Florida are very similar to Texas and it was of little help to Zimmerman.
I saw a report on it on CBS in New York yesterday. To their credit, they did describe the murderers as two African American men. To their discredit, they did not describe them as two black male thugs.
I think your skin needs a little thickening. There is much worse said here on a daily basis, and I didn’t interpret his comment as “denigrating the wife of a murder victim”.
