It looks like only 1 of the world’s 6 richest men is Jewish. And he’s in last place.
AFAIK, Koch isn’t Jewish in terms of religion, but Catholic. Wikipedia lists his ethnicity as “Dutch”, so I’m not sure if his family is ethnic Jewish either.

Ellison’s unwed mother was Jewish. He was adopted and raised by his aunt and uncle, who were also Jewish.
Under Jewish law, he’s Jewish.
Oddly enough, under Nazi law he might qualify as a mischling.
Since the mother was unwed, not so, especially according to Deuteronomy 23:2.

I’m talking about present Jewish law, for which marital status of the mother is not particularly relevant. Jewish law has diverged in quite a number of ways from what says in the Torah.

I’ve been led to believe that status of Jew passes from the mother, as Jewish women were so often sold into sex slavery, that the conquering slave-taker could not confer his religion onto the progeny.
I would not get too worked up. The “Pitchfork Movement” is a fringe protest movement in Italy. In 2012 regional elections the Sicilian Pitchfork Movement gained only 2.5% of the vote. It is nothing more than a loose neo-Fascist/anarchist Occupy Wall Street type of movement. Just a lot of noise.
There are a number of sympathetic politicians in the mainstream.
Larry Ellison is Jewish. The Koch brothers are not.

Deuteronomy 23:2 does not refer to mere illegitimacy, it refers to what is called a “mamzer.”
Again, a mamzer is not a mere bastard, but rather a product of a married woman’s adultery or incest.
Christians frequently think this because the English translation of “mamzer” is incorrectly translated “bastard.”

Begs the question of how it was possible to routinely know whether the child of a married woman was the result of adultery, prior to DNA testing that is.
I would think a married woman’s incest would also be adultery.
