OK, gang. We're seeing the railroading of Phil Robertson for the high crime of professing his faith in response to a direct question.
1. We need to overwhelm A&E with support for Phil. Here's the email I sent to feedback@aenetworks.com. . .
To whom it may concern:
Apparently, A&E Networks find it objectionable that Phil Robertson, when asked a direct question, gave a direct answer and referenced the teachings of his faith.
For his honesty, which, frankly, is one of the charms of "Duck Dynasty", you've decided to put Phil on hiatus.
Well, I've put A&E on hiatus. AND, I've also put buying products and services advertised on A&E on hiatus, and will be informing each and every one of your advertisers of the fact. I'm sure that Wal-Mart, amongst others, will be in touch about that. . .
You might remember the Chik-fil-A brouhaha, and how that worked out. . . .
2. We need to execute the "Rakolta Technique": that is, we need a list of advertisers and products advertised on A&E, and then contact each and every sponsor promising NOT to buy their products UNTIL Phil Robertson returned to "Duck Dynasty". . .

Agreed. This isnt just about phil. This is about the majority in this country who believe in the bible getting sick and tired of homosexuals trying to normalize their sin. Its one thing not to persecute them for it, its another to make it normal. Christians need to push back once and for all!
Whether I agree with Phil Robertson or not is not the issue.
I view this as the in the end, the viewing public should decide Duck Dynasty’s fate.
I think future ratings should decide if someone stays or not. Networks always jump the gun on these things.
Sponsors have a right to decide if they want to be associated, but at the same time, in the end, it’s the ratings that drive sponsorship.
And of course, viewership drives ratings.
Of course what bothers is me more are the people who now want Phil Robertson off the air had no issues with Martin Bashir’s Palin rant.
Now getting to the topic of this thread.... Y ES! People on this forum have the right to let Duck Dynasty’s sponsors know how they feel!!!

You know, what’s funny is how Barbara Walters and Alec Baldwin also have a problem with homosexuality as well.
Why don’t the others on the joy just boycott it..refuse to film any more episodes..A&E’s action is without merit..

Its not that Phil is opposed to homosexuality... its that he quoted the bible while being opposed. God’s word cuts the heart like a knife.
