The first same-sex wedding in the history of the Tournament of Roses Parade went off without a hitch -- except for the planned one -- despite threats of protests and days of opposition on social media.

"Congratulations and our best wishes to Aubrey and Danny on their wedding day!" said KTLA-TV Channel 5 broadcaster Bob Eubanks, one of the live telecast show's hosts, as the wedding-cake-shaped float passed by the viewing stands.

The vows took place near the end of the two-hour telecast of the 125th annual Rose Parade. There were no major incidents reported.

I wonder if the spectators along the parade route were wearing camouflage and sporting long beards.

“...Two men in a full blown marriage,...”

Let’s a;; get one thing straight here. What happened today was NOT A MARRIAGE. I don’t know exactly what to call it but it wasn’t a marriage in the traditional sense. It was an afront to God and all normal people.

I remember the Rose Parade.

What ever happened to that.

Seems like it just disappeared after the 2013 parade.

I never saw or heard about after that.

Same-sex wedding occurs without incident on Rose Parade float

If someone did try to disrupt the wedding FEDGOV would lock the protestors up and throw away the room.

The homosexualists are a protected class and are being foisted up society. Decent people are restrained, violently if need be, from doing anything about it.

We have no representation.

I watched the parade on RFD-TV, they had a commercial break at the time this float came by

“did they consummate on the float too?”

They’ll do that at the Rose Bowl during half time on the fifty yard line.

“HGTV spent all of 30 seconds on that particular float. They went into great detail on all the others. It almost seemed like they were very uncomfortable with whole thing. No mention of a ‘marriage’ taking place on the float and no close up of the participants”

It sounds like the TV stations had more sense than the Rose Parade organizers and glossed over it so as not to offend their audience — smart choice.

“I watched the whole thing. They must have had it at the very end when the network went to their last commercial, because I didn’t see it.”

From what you and some others were saying, it sounds like some networks had respect for their viewers and didn’t show it or just glossed over it, so as not to offend their audience — unlike the Rose Parade organizers who allowed this “in-your-face” offense to take place to promote the homosexual agenda.

I never watch anyway, but I wondered. was the ‘ceremony’ televised? If televised, in close range, by multiple networks? Did everything else stop to acknowledge it, the way they would have wanted, or no, not really?

Did not watch the parade. I have no desire to see two perverts marry each other. I hold out hope that America will comes to her senses and restore some decency to our society.

I just finished watching an interview with the K9 group who had the float with the huge German shepherd. The lady said that she was surprised to find out that once a group is permitted to join the Rose Parade - THEY GET IT FOR LIFE - so that must mean that we will see another couple of dudes or lesbos locking lips on top of their wedding cake.
