Yep....the media will push for Christie so they can pull out their script from Hillary’s Senate run to position him as the ‘bully’ going after the lady. It’s obvious, but the wizards in our party apparatus are too stupid to see it. Yep, stupid. I used to think they were just misguided, but they do the same damn thing every cycle. Crush the conservatives, create an inevitable front runner from the moderate wing because ‘only they can win’, and then their can’t miss candidate lays an egg.

I disagree. I believe Democrats want Christie to be the nominee for the GOP because he will be easy to beat. And it was their MSM allies that gave Christe his front-runner status to begin with. I have yet to see any conservative poll which places Christie anywhere near the top among potential candidates for 2016.

The guy could never have gotten the GOP nomination, but could have really messed up the primaries, allowing the media to exploit and exagerate ideological divisions in the GOP coalition and leaving the eventual nominee weak and bloodied.
Now it’s possible to refocus opposition to him away from ideological differences to him being a petty, vindictive a&&hole who lacks the temperment for the office.
An added bonus is that the Dems and Lib media are the ones carrying the water on this right now.
RE: As for Christie, he only did what Democrats do on a daily basis
1) Did not oppose Obamacare
2) Signed the bill that outlawed therapy for homosexuals ( even when they wanted the therapy ).
3) Recently signed a bill to give illegals in-state tuition for college.
did the Big fella investigate the allegations when they were raised last year? where else in NJ has this game been played? These are some obvious questions he should be answering......

I think they were willing to ‘prop him up’ so the so called establishment could run him using the Romney line “He appears to be the only one that can please both sides” and “we need someone like him to at least get the voters out to vote an R Senate/House” - until it is time to destroy him.
Christie ‘screwed up’ by winning the NJ race by such a large margin and the MSM etal (DNC) doesn’t know how to cope with it.
