Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) told Face the Nation today Obama cares about the troops – something he didn’t see with President Bush.

“I know the president. I know how he feels about these troops and that’s basically what the secretary said so I’m glad he did that. I’m glad he had second thoughts. And, I cannot say that was the situation always with President Bush.”

Oh, please. This reminds me of Orpah's show the day after her loved One was first elected. She had a victory party with a bunch of black actors sitting on stools talking about their joy, which was a legitimate thing, except that he was supposed to be president of all races, but whatever. The point is, actor Forest Whitaker opined, referring to Zero and Michelle as a couple, "At last, we'll get some love back in the White House." My jaw dropped.
