LOL!
now it is, according to activist judges
cake being essential to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness and cake supplies being controlled by only a select few providers- next, nationalism of the wedding cake industry and move to “single baker”. “obamacake”.

How about a cake with a pregnant woman and the line “I’m keeping my baby”?
They could come up with a queer cake for homosexual weddings. It could be fruit cake or something. These cakes are for birthdays. These cakes are for baby showers. We only have this cake for homosexual weddings.
Another good one.
Voluntary association is GONE in this country. The Constitution is dead.
The question on everyone’s mind (I think):
Did Sweet Cakes by Melissa have the same business ‘surge’ as Chick-fil-A?
The 2 cases are very different, imho, and I’m conflicted on this one, as I equate this case more with actors/performers making political stances than a CEO making a policy decision on company marriage retreats.
Standing your ground on principle is one thing, but making public comments/actions in the city in which you choose to do business that might alienate half your business is just plain stupid unless you’re prepared to move anyway and/or knew it would have a positive effect on the business.
I know Portland (unfortunately); the other part of this story REALLY IS how the business is faring...
“... It could be fruit cake...”
*ROFL* That’s hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!
As has been noted by some, the homosexual agenda is no longer about tolerance and "equality", and has even morphed (pun intended) beyond demanding acceptance of homosexual behavior. It has reached the point where this tiny minority is demanding that everyone "celebrate" their behavior regardless of what societal, religious or personal objections they may have.
Of course I've always thought it a bit queer that anyone would hold parades, festivals and other galas (pun no. 3) for the sole purpose of celebrating their sexual behavior.
But,
NOT being forced to provide your labor or talent against your will
IS a basic civil right.
Amendment 13: Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Intentional targeting of a Christian business.
Oregons Bureau of Labor and Industries violated a Citizen’s Constitutional Right.
Had Enough Yet ?............................
There was a shortage of fudge.
That’s my point.
Apparently. If the filmographer was Christian.
That’s such 1965 thinking, comrade.
When are a Christian’s civil rights ever violated?
