Ben Sasse Has Momentum in Nebraska

It is time for you too to get behind Ben Sasse in the Nebraska Senate Primary. At three percent in the polls this past June, Sasse is now tied at the front with Mitch McConnell’s pick.

Unsurprisingly, Mitch McConnell and the Washington Lobbyist crowd’s pick does best with people who don’t like the tea party and Sasse does best with those who do like the tea party.

The effort to fully poison the well with Ben Sasse’s opponent is ongoing. The Washington lobbyist sector continues to throw the opponent lavish fundraisers and Mitch McConnell got the guy to DC to get in front of Senators. They are just going to destroy an otherwise good guy and make him one of the status quo.

If you oppose the status quo in Washington, you need to support Ben Sasse. He is supported by RedState, Club for Growth, the Senate Conservatives Fund, and others. Mitch McConnell hates him because the conservative movement has rallied to him.

So who do you want to be with — the lobbyists and establishment guys who jacked up the national debt to $17 trillion, or the conservatives who have fought and still fight for a balanced budget and limited government?

Ben Sasse’s opponent hasn’t even gotten to Washington yet and is already in their pocket. And they’d have taking from your pocket if he got there.

So join RedState and support Ben Sasse. He’s the guy the conservative movement supports and he will support us, not K Street, in D.C.

“No, a Republican isn’t better than a Democrat if that “Republican” will backstab constitutional conservatives. Think of what Ted Cruz could’ve accomplished if it weren’t for McCain and the other traitors not standing with him. Have you been drinking the RINO KoolAid?”

Better RINO KoolAid than the Tea Party Math that thinks Cruz and 44 other Republicans can outvote Harry Reed and 54 other Democrats.

It doesn't matter, they didn't even stand firm and exploit the Obama administration's infantile closings of federal parks and monuments. I think if they had stood by Ted Cruz some of those dems whose re-election is on the line might've come over to dropping the Obamacare mandate. It's the dissension from the likes of McConnell, McCain, Ayotte, Flake, Murkowski and Graham that took that possibility off the table. They disgust me. We'll never be a majority again if we put up with those who backstab constitutional conservatives.

Why give power to the weak kneed that you have to beg and plead at every tough vote. Flack McCain Graham and their ilk. Dispatch them that will be noticed. Tea Party is a minority voice and is hated by RNC Rove Dems Chamber of Commerce. They are taking flack means they are probably over the right target. LOL

Might’ve come over? That is nothing more than wishful thinking.

There are 21 Democrats with expiring terms in 2014. Five are retiring so they are beyond worrying about re-election. That leaves sixteen. You can only lose one of those to be able to over ride the President’s veto. Do you really think you could get 15 of the 16 to vote to kill the mandate and to over ride the veto? Such a vote would be suicide for many of them in deep blue states.

Oh, I know, you don’t know until you try. Custer probably said the same thing at the Little Big Horn. Any one with any modicum of political sense could see that pushing the point would turn out to be another Little Big Horn. That’s why the issue was dropped.

Over the right target? You’re kidding. You’re never over the right target when you’re bombing your allies.

They are not your allies if they agree and collaborate with the enemies of liberty. Must be defeated and reasonable folks have figured that out and plan to take action rather than whine about it.

If they contribute to a majority in the senate and the replacement of Harry Reed with a Republican, if they agree with you on most issues, then they are an ally.

Replacing a part time moderate republican ally with a full time democrat enemy is no gain.

Does it really matter who stabbed you in the back at a crucial time. An unprincipled Repub or Dem who will face you and do it? Still dead though right

I’m not sure who you think stabbed you in the back nor when.

If you’re talking about the recent government shutdown, I wouldn’t call that a back stabbing. That shutdown had no chance of success and it’s just as well that it was ended before it caused any lasting harm to republicans.

Dick Armey and Paul Ryan endorsed Sasse. Both of them are amnesty supporters.

Sasse will be useless in the Senate if he is another Jeff Flake.

Johanns and Deb Fischer have pretty conservative ratings but she voted against amnesty and managed to upset McCain which was important.

I think Fischer had a record in State senate voting against the Dream Act.

The GOP wil not lose any seats b/c they put govt workers on paid vacation. LOL They could lose seats if they show their lack of principles. Farm bill pork enabling they just lack principles and shoot or stab any in the back who calls them out. Ask Sarah Palin or Ted Cruz for example. Cruz Lee and Rand Paul to lesser extent are heroes with not enough allies.

Since Conservatives and Liberals are in the minority, elections are won/lost in the middle where principles are not that clear cut. The first principle must be too win. Unless you win the election, your principles matter are worthless.

Most people do not consider government in the same light as do conservatives. There is no clearer path to losing the trust and confidence of the American People (and losing elections) than shutting down the government.

Is it winning when you have McCain Flake in the same foxhole as Cruz? They will try to kill Cruz as they showed they would. Would never share a foxhole with someone that would throw up the white flag at first sign of trouble aka Flake McCain Murkowski and too many more.

If you were Ted Cruz would you want McCain & Flake in your foxhole? It seems to me Ted should be worried about being a supposed “Friendly Fire Victim.”

I wish you’d explain exactly how/when anyone stabbed Cruz in the back so I could understand what you’re talking about.

When Cruz finished his filibuster McCain could not wait to take the mic in Senate to chastise the young senator. You must have missed it huh. There were others like McConnell Cornyn with subtle digs as well. Clear they do not like folks with real spines and principles. Would never wanna be in foxhole with folks of their ilk. They raise the white flag of surrender the first sign of conflict. Cruz said wait yr to implement now Obama is trumpeting 3 years LOL.

Great Example FDR could never get us into WW2 for two reasons the folks opposed it and the GOP minority listened to the people and opposed it as well til Dec 7 41 of course. Folks opposed Obamacare but GOP Surrendered without a fight except for a few folks. Folks were behind and they raised white flag of surrender and berated those that went to battle.
