Well, both President G.H.W. Bush and President G.W. Bush made some mistakes, but I would ALWAYS take them again rather than a big “L” Libertarian like Rand Paul. I MISS President G.W. Bush almost as much as I miss President Reagan. I just President G.W. Bush had not been so much under the sway of Neocons. However, I would rather have neocons advising than isolationist idiots.
People often say “we cannot be the world’s policeman.” Well, it is true we cannot, for the entire world, but we often must (reluctantly) be so for the “high crime” areas....to stay with the metaphor. However, we do need to realize that we cannot spread a U.S.A. style of democracy everywhere...just stomp out dangers to our own.
