"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |
|
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |
|
"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792 |
|
"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams |
|
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

Funny, a true champion does not wait 45 minutes into a vote to show he is a champion. Mitch spent 45 minutes trying to sucker some other RINO
into casting that 60th vote.
McConnell is finished. Either Bevin will take him out or Grimes will.

Good!

Yup, and that makes us TEXAS very proud, very proud indeed!
BTW, was Ron-Bon an aide to DEMOCRAT Senator Trent Lott before Trent jumped ship to become a born-again Republican?

There’s nothing so refreshing as the sound of RINOs whining and complaining about the Tea Party after the RINOs have been forcefully exposed yet again.
Keep it up Senator Cruz...I’m loving it.

Fixed it!
If Ron Bonjean is just figuring this out, he's not much of a strategist much less someone with a brain.

I am getting so tired of this narrative. Cruz isn’t responsible for McConnells lack of leadership. Cruz isn’t responsible for the fact McConnell, after three years, is too stupid to formulate a message to garner public support against unmitigated corruption (with substantial public sentiment against the Democrat agenda). Cruz isn’t responsible for the Rinos completely wasting the outcome of the 2010 mid-term elections. It is high time these idiots come to terms with the fact they are not qualified to do battle with the Democrats and should get out of the way so we can get people like Cruz in office that are, and will.

If, by “free enterprise”, you mean using government to force markets you otherwise wouldn't have, to erect barriers to entry to your industry, to crush your competition with less than even-handed tax treatment and regulation, to work hand-in-glove with corrupt politicians, then, yes, Mitch is your champion.

Idiots, neither were they elected to be part of a corrupt “team”. They were elected to represent the people who voted for them, according to their own promises and platforms.

Chamber of Commerce has turned into a gang of corrupt cronies. In fact, I’m afraid it’s been that for several decades now, at least.
Why work for money when you can bribe a politician to pass the pork?

McConnell looks like an old granny. Cruz was trying to stop the rinos from shooting their toes off. It’s time for these rinos to go.
