A friend today directed me to this post on youtube. It is kinda cool:

“Under article IV, section 1 of the US constitution, each state must give ‘full faith and credit’ to acts writs, warrants and judicial proceedings of every other state. If a couple is legally married in NY or NJ, they don’t have to get a license or re-marry upon moving to VA, NC or TX.

“The lefties like to cite that clause as protecting gay marriage, but I would like to counter that my concealed-carry permit (also a judicial proceeding via a circuit court judge) from VA should also be honored in NY, NJ, MA or MD. What is good for the goose...”

I just want to thank all my fellow Virginian Republicans(?) that opted to stay home because they didn’t like the haircuts of the R candidates or ‘wasted’ their vote on a Libertarian— that the ‘National Libertarians were saying WTF?’— and it turns out ‘backed’ by a Texas Liberal...

Why not thank Bill Bolling, who refused to endorse Ken and worked hard to disparage him. Or the Rep Mayor Virginia Beach who endorsed McAwful. Or Boyd Marcus, longtime Rep consultant including to George Allan, who endorsed McAwful and got a political plum job.

The real problem in VA is that we are trending blue. Immigration and domestic migration to VA by Northeast liberals have changed the state, especially NoVA. I have serious doubts the Rep will ever win a statewide election again.

Wouldn’t this error be grounds for an appeal?

Here is another one: We are not discriminating against “them”. Our laws are not designed for groups or even for married couples. They are designed for the individual citizen. And “they” have the exact same marriage rights you and I have. There is no discrimination here. The problem is that they want to do something that is not only not allowed, but it attempts to dramatically alter the meaning of plain english words.

Marriage is between a man and a woman. It always has been and always will be. Just as “gay” means happy. Only lunatics think “gay” refers to a man who enjoys pushing his penis into another man’s anus, or being the receiver of said penis.

And only lunatics call two men committing to doing that to each other until death “married”.

The law is very fair, whether you are straight or homosexual you can get married only under these circumstances:

1. Neither party is already married.
2. The parties are not blood relatives, e.g. brother and sister or mother and son.
3. The two parties are of opposite sexes.

And number three is the reason the institution exists in the first place. If mankind did not procreate via sex, there would be no such thing as marriage. Calling the joining of two humans that don’t meet the third condition “marriage” is ludicrous on the face of it. You might as well say a guy is married to his harley.

Which brings us to why this is so important to “them”: This is an attempt from the great deceiver himself to dilute a gift of God - and proof we really are in the end times as described in prophetic, biblical scripture.

The statement in the Declaration of Independence starts....”We hold these truths self-evident, that all men are created equal”.....so it first declares.... There are self-evident truths......and heterosexual sex is a biological requirement of life for mankind to continue. ....homosexual is not ...is a self-evident truth.....so all men are equal..any can couple/marry with a women to continue, to reproduce there line, and continue mankind..that is just natural law we are not in a position to change.....if a man or woman choose not marry that their business but same sex is not “marriage”

I didn’t want to start ‘naming names’ as I may have to include some R’s on this list who won’t (or say they won’t) vote for an R unless he is 100% with absolutely no wiggle room. <: <: <:
I believe the beginning of the end for us was Allen and the macacca(sp) BS, O North, yes the split this year between Bolling and Cucc, the ‘crime’ McDonald committed - yes, I believe he is guilty of poor judgement and gross stupidity for taking gifts like that “Legal or not”, just gives ‘them’ ammo to throw at you.

That lame RNC clown came on Chris Plante(?) just before the election and he said the RNC was backing Cucc to the hilt and Plante(I think it was his show)said you are giving money to NJ but not VA and that SOB virtually accused Plante(?) of lying and got ‘mad’ when he persisted. Think he finally ended up saying Christie needed it more than VA....

Of course when us ‘Conservatives’ started telling the R’s we would financially support individuals NOT the hand picked puppets the GOPe designated for us, kind of sunk the Conservative and TEA Party members...

A point I make periodically is that there is no “right” to marriage.

Marriage has historically been an obligation undertaken by two people prior to engaging in activities that might reasonably be expected to lead to children; and if not before, then shortly thereafter.

The purpose being to maximize the likelihood that said children mature to become self-sufficient human beings.

Since no homosexual activity can produce children, the concept of homosexual “marriage” is moot.

And, as you mentioned, there are lots of limitations on heterosexual marriage. Only one is that it be heterosexual.

Their side claims that “Any two people who love each other should be allowed to marry”. I love my mother, she loves me. Should we be allowed to marry? If not, why not. About there, their heads start to explode.

Let me see, when the people vote for the something the court disagrees with, it is the courts responsibility to protect the voters from themselves.

When the voters vote in officials who overide the will of the people, it is not the responsibility of the court to save them from themselves.

So elections have consequences only when the courts approve of the consequences. Got it.

VA is a purple state trending blue primarily due to changing demographics. NoVA now has more than enough votes to put the Dems on top in any statewide election. When Kerry won Fairfax County in 2004, the first time a Dem did that since 1964, the game was over. In 1990 15% of Fairfax County was foreign-born; today it is 30%. In 1990 whites were 81% and now they are 63%. The Dems have the numbers. If they get the same kind of turnout as the GOP, they win every time.

These incompetents are tiresome. Equal-opportunity, affirmative action at work I’d say.
