Where Is the Red Line of Impeachment?

In the business world, a diligent board of directors would have long ago fired CEO Obama.

Sometimes it takes only a year of less than expected earnings to result in the termination of a corporate CEO. A couple of underperforming years and a few reasons more, and a CEO would have his bags packed and stowed underneath his buck-stopping desk. A long list of problems -- especially one suggesting even a hint of fraud -- that fails to generate a satisfactory board response would stir shareholders and lenders to demand the resignation of not only the CEO and other key employees, but also its directors. For without remediation, the company's stock prices would tumble as shareholders divest and banks pull the plug.

Our government's CEO is Barack Obama, its board of directors is Congress, its workforce consists of a growing multitude of Big Government bureaucracies, and its bank is the unaccountable monopoly of the Federal Reserve. Anymore, hardly anyone with any power in that vast organization seems to represent the interests of We the People (the shareholders).

The Democrat-media complex can ridicule political opposition as "fringe" or "extremist," but the ominous ticking of the 17-trillion-dollar debt clock is becoming harder to ignore. The growing debt transforms our shares from an asset into a liability that gravely impacts our national security. Our future generations will no longer expect the reward of dividends in their pursuit of happiness. Instead, and not by choice, they inherit more than their fair share of risk -- the labor of digging out of this financial mess, the difficult task of restoring real freedom and liberty, and the rebuilding of our national status and defenses abroad.

Not only has the financial value of our shares turned upside-down, but the attached voting value has become diluted...

The problem isn’t a red line, it’s a black line....

Can’t cross the color barrier....

I for one think impeachment is a complete waste of time unless we win the Senate....and then it still might be a bad idea....since by then he will have two years left....

The impeachment train will have barely left the station by the time he’s gone....

About a million miles behind 0bama. He crossed that line years ago.

Impeachment should still go ahead if we are able. It shows that tyrants are to held accountable for their actions.
Can criminal charges be placed after he leaves office?

Obama will refuse to leave the White House in 2016 and there STILL will be no talk of impeachment.

I will never EVER vote for ANY black politician. They are held to NO standard.

I might agree with if I thought the threat of impeachment would restrain his power grabs....

If anything that threat would empower him because the media would have his back....

Very good article by Cindy Simpson for the articles of impeachment.

Beyond impeachment...

He has repeatedly lied and used our airwaves to amplify those lies.
He has not passed laws that help the colonists.
He has refused his assent to laws the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
His pen and his phone have dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
His pen and his phone have acted in taking away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our government.
He has stood idle and let unaccountable bureaucrats devalue our currency and relegate us, our children and grandchildren as slaves to debt and to the leviathan state.
He has made war upon our people and our land by division and strife.
Many of his actions have not protected us from our enemies and has used our justice department and state department to aid and abet our enemies.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

The House doesn't impeach because the perception is that impeachment isn't in the personal interest of most members.

I've pestered my Tea Party congressman Steve Southerland (FL-2) endlessly about excising the virus of Obama via impeachment. His response is always that “policy differences” don't rise to the level of impeachment. I would respect his honesty if he simply said most House members were too frightened. I don't respect lies.

Cute article, but we’re talking about the government here, not a “for profit” or other company with shareholders. Plus, a majority of the “shareholder/voters” associated with the government are simply voting for bigger dividends (largess from the public treasury) for themselves.

So what do we do? Let Obama run amok and trample the Bill of rights without the threat of Punishment?
And screw the media. Like the only people who watch network news are either very old or very stupid. And Newspapers are even worse. Most people gloss past the news and head for the comics or sports.
Obama need to face the music.

Nothing would make happier and also sad to see this POS do the perp walk....

Happy thar justice was served and sad that the American people are such sheep they elected him twice...

As for running amok....just wait until he is a true lame duck president when the Senate no longer blocks House legislation and the only power he has is the veto pen...

He will either go full fledge tin hat dictator or go on vacay and golf...

As for trampling the bill of rights both parties are guilty....Obama just relishes in it.....

Never happen....the Pubs don’t have the spine nor the balls to step up for this much work...when we can get more people in the Senate and the House like Cruz, Paul, Lee then maybe but right now, forget about it....
