TAMPA (FOX 13) - New video released Tuesday by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office shows the start of what would become a massive stampede of rowdy students at the Florida State Fair that led to dozens of ejections and several arrests.
The video was shot by a vendor and handed over to investigators as they try to identify victims and make more arrests in connection to the organized stampede known as "wilding."
"It's more of a giant stampede, and that's kind of the beginning of it that you see on that video," explained Cpl. Jim Previtera. "It does give a brief glimpse of what 'wilding' looks like."
The stampede, which investigators said involved many teenagers attending with free student tickets, led to 99 ejections and 12 arrests Friday and forced authorities to shut the fair down early.
Previtera made another revelation: known gang members were involved in the ordeal; several of them even took pictures at a photo booth at the fair.
"Certainly the gang element adds an organized group into the mix that's there for one purpose, and that's certainly not to take advantage of the rides," he said. "They were there to cause problems."

I grew up in Pelham Bay and it was a short bus ride down Pelham Pkwy. We would go down on catholic holidays (went to parochial schools). And do stupid semi legal things there. Nice place. Occasionally went across the street to the botanical gardens.
We also took the Pelham bay line down to manhattan. But we did not do the stuff the feral youth you spoke of did.
The trips, from out on the Island, With my kids in the 80s was during summer when the crowds were greatest mid week or weekend.
I didn’t consider that aspect. I suppose it’s a toss up between prevention and apprehension.

Yes and for all the trouble they cause all over the country its hard to keep in mind that they are only about 13% of the population.
Your post seems to be looking for a way to do violence and get by with it. That is not we are as conservatives or moral people. Violence should only be used to protect. To use a mob as an opportunity to knife people and get away with it is evil. If you were to do this, I would hope that you would be caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
What do you call that “knife” in case I wanted to pick up one or two? :)
In the SF Bay Area, public transit used to be "free" on "Spare the Air" days. I think they stopped offering free rides when they realized what sort of people started using public transit on those days.
You are missing the premise. You are at a state fair, for example, enjoying yourself, when suddenly a large group, intent on wilding, assaulting, even murdering, charges in your direction, attacking anyone they can in the process.
While you can “defend in place”, odds are great that you may be either overwhelmed, or arrested after the fact, for defending yourself against an angry, racist mob. That will never be *called* an angry, racist mob intent on assault, destruction, and murder. You trial will be as if you suddenly launched into an unsuspecting crowd of innocent people.
So instead of running away, which may not be an option, or hiding, which also may not be an option, you may have to “cut yourself out”, through the angry, racist mob.
From the point of view of the authorities, and the media, all you are supposed to do is be beaten, perhaps to death, but do nothing else until the police arrive, if they ever do. And you will get no support, or help, or sympathy.
They will not write down your side of the story, and if you even report truthfully that the angry, racist mob was entirely black, you will be called a racist.
With this as a given, is protecting yourself from all of it so wrong?
It is a karambit, and a very popular style, so there are many now available for sale.
The Italians, during the riot-a-week campaigns by the Communists some years back, used to put a dye in the water, they spray the crowd, and arrest anyone who wore the "color-of-the-day".
I don't see why some harmless food dye couldn't be done here - non-washable if available. If nothing else, the "hoodies" would be ruined.

I may have misunderstood your initial comment. If you were only talking about attacking violent mobsters who wouldn’t let you pass or were attacking you or others then you would be acting in self defense and I misunderstood you. I thought you were talking about attacking anyone in the mob including those not actually threatening you with violence.
What makes things much worse is that your motives in such circumstances do not matter. It did not matter that Trayvon Martin was straddling George Zimmerman while punching him in the face and trying to bash his head in on the sidewalk.
Well, it did matter to a jury. But it did not matter to any number of scoundrels that prosecuted and wanted to railroad him.
I absolutely agree with you that a person should not just wade into a hostile crowd with the idea of inflicting harm on a bunch of individuals. But that is just a reflection of personal integrity and a sense of fairness and justice.
Those in positions of authority often DO NOT HAVE a sense of fairness and justice, because they also lack personal integrity. They are just as willing to persecute an innocent person as they are to prosecute a guilty one.
If you saw a group of young men trying to rape and maybe even murder a young girl, and by whatever means you stopped them, likely the very first thing that would be screamed at you is that you are a “racist”. Illogical and irrational, but they would do it anyway.
Let’s combine the 2 reply suggestions...
