Student protesters were unarmed and marching in peace. Venezuelan civilians are under absolute gun control, while police, paid thugs with red shirts and armed with guns, including machine guns, act with impunity. This is what genocide looks like when they think nobody is watching.
Really more democide than genocide, but the point is well taken.
Interesting. One vehicle, apparently operating (relatively) alone and unsupported in an urban environment. Not a situation I’d want to be in...
It only makes Traitorobama more envious.

A quick glance reveals several potential vectors from which to demonstrate their folly.
There was an earlier post purportedly from a Venezuelan cop in their equivalent of the FBI. He said the gangs had weapons that the army didn’t have. Presumably shoulder fired anti-tank rounds that would make short work of that lightly armored car. Apparently, this vehicle wasn’t expecting to be confronted by gangs and is probably “enforcing” a curfew for the civilians. (That would be one serous curfew.) It also indicates the government has adopted a bunker mentality if they’ll shoot unarmed civilians.
But as long as they’re not going after well-armed gangs, they can run around all night in perfect safety as the civilians apparently don’t even have .38 revolvers. What bothers me about our local sheriff’s having MRAPS is they really only have this one use in the civilian world. The local sheriff used an armored car and twelve machinegun toting SWAT troops to attack a single-wide trailer I’d rented to an elderly ill and mostly drunk couple. I’m grateful they just knocked down my $500 front door to go after these unarmed elderly people and that they didn’t drive the armored car into the middle of the structure too.
Coming to the US soon...
I expect a declaration of “President for Life” in the not too distant future.

First, you start with a door/wall that has already been smashed in so there’s frame damage. You buy it as a complete set with storm door and have somebody haul it and install it. It came to $4xx, don’t recall the exact amount.

You’re kidding, right? No. If they had to pay for the damage they did out of departmental funds that would be their last raid.
If it were me and the trailer was a rental, I’d put it in my tax return as a bad, unrecoverable debt by no good no account Gestapo agents.
