Canada outplayed the US yesterday and the US really didn't look like they wanted the bronze - Finland clearly did.
The NHL may say they don't want their players in the next Olympics, but the KHL will, and it will be interesting to see (if) our college kids play European pros like they did "back in the day"

Disappointing for sure but the Boys gave us a great show during the prelims. Amazing how the offense completely shut down the last two games though.

Some of the women’s hockey was good. Very nice feminine clean cut young ladies especially Switzerland> No butch cuts. They all had long hair pulled back away from their faces.
Being fourth among 236 countries playing ice hockey is not all that bad!
The good news is that the team won’t be getting any late night visits from the IRS.
Finland has a great system for playing on the big ice surfaces. Some top tier talent as well.
The hell with the Olympics! We need World Series and Super Bowels in all sports where “world champions” will always be American!

Why did the Olympics go from amateur to pro, or a mix of pro/ amateur?
That’s what they get for assembling a team NHL-style, instead of filling their roster with all the best American players. It’s the Olympics, you can’t have a top 6 and bottom 6. All men on the ice have to be the best. Maybe next time, they won’t make the same kind of mistake when they overlooked Kyle Okposo.
