Rick Ross has been forced to defend a controversial lyric involving Trayvon Martin found on his upcoming album Mastermind.

In new song "Black and White," Ross rhymes, "Forbes dot com, I'm the Teflon Don/ Too close to a n---a as a motherf*****g bomb/Trayvon Martin, I'm never missing my target/Bitch n---as hating, tell me it's what I'm parking.

Just a note: the mother f word is completely spelled out at the Rolling Stone web site, but the n word is NOT SPELLED out....

So spelling a profanity about fornication with mom is okay...but a word used by blacks every day is forbidden.

Further proof (as if more is needed) that LIBs are insane.

Most rap songs seem to be on the same mental level as Mother Goose rhymes and similar in structure sans about 20 - 50 curse words.

Those are um ... “lyrics?” I thought maybe a cat had walked across the keyboard. He shouldn’t defend those “lyrics” he should re-write them, or better yet hire a guide and go looking for some talent.

Its because you’re not a member of the ‘homey G” club. All you have to know is their songs are abouting partying / drinking and doing drugs, sex, demeaning women, capping the popos and whiteys, doing time / doing crime, or anything else you wouldn’t do or talk about in church.

Didn't trayvon’s mother copyright his name? Ross better pay royalties for the use of that teen thug.

It always seems the Libs objective is to make the insane look normal.

Many years ago, there was a DOS program called Babble, that would take text from several different sources and mingle it together. The mingled text could be modified in many ways, such as given optional accent speech imperfections like “Elmer Fudd” and “ghetto”. The end product was gobbledegook.

http://www.filewatcher.com/m/BABBLE.EXE.47303-0.html

Unfortunately the company that made Babble went out of business. Had development of that software continued, by now it would have been creating utterly mindless but grammatically accurate sentences, even paragraphs and chapters, an “ackempucky” of hundreds of text sources.

But even in its primitive state, it could every now and then produce sentences, that with some editing, seemed to make sense, but didn’t. And by reading a bunch of them, your mind would go into “overdrive”, and the nonsense would make patterns where none existed.

One particularly good blending incorporated several odd religious texts, the 1968 Democrat party platform, the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, the Communist Manifesto, some text from an adult Harold Robbins novel, etc. And much of it seemed to generate in an almost Biblical pattern. For example:

“Having alluded to the disuse of sin, we stand ready to
receive you who are generally deaf; why do more stairs
remain to change our economic work in the world?”

“A rope from a cask of flame, and the sense of flame,
lets out with a result of value, then the event (I do not
know wherefore it’s depth), or the worth of an exceptionally
favorable one, will be wanting else.”

“He answered to a crumpled heap within the bourgeoisie,
whispering heated words close by, trying to be immediately
obvious. They had cut off the allegory, a pall to all
mankind.”

You can blame the war on drugs for Rapp. Back in the
80’s when the drug warriors were putting all the drug
users in jail there was a shortage of clients for the
dealers. So they started targeting little children.
When they were pushing drugs on little girls playing
hop scotch and jump rope they picked up on the little
girls rhymes. So essentially rap was stolen from little
girls playing jump rope.

Nice pickup; that’s White liberals showing they’re “down with the struggle” on their way to the gated community they live in.

Interesting. Do you stand in the same position regarding the following “lyrics”?

If there’s a bustle in your hedgerow
Don’t be alarmed, now
It’s just a spring-clean for the mayqueen.

I’m not defending “rap” (I describe the genre as “syncopated tribal grunting”). Yet, we do need to look back over the entirety of “rock and roll” to legitimately criticize lyrics.

Don McLean knew what happened; the music died.
