Simferopol, Ukraine (CNN) -- [Breaking News Update, 10:02 a.m. ET] (CNN) -- Russia's upper house of parliament voted Saturday to approve the use of military force in Ukraine. The vote was unanimous.

(CNN) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has asked the upper house of parliament for approval to send Russian troops into Ukraine's Crimea region to normalize the political situation there, the Kremlin said Saturday.
Due to the "extraordinary situation in Ukraine," Putin said, there are threats to the lives of Russian citizens and Russian military personnel based in the southern Crimean region.
It comes on the same day that the new pro-Russian leader of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, asked Putin for help in maintaining peace in the Black Sea peninsula -- where Russia has a major naval base at Sevastopol.

I am afraid by mobilizing they fall into the bear trap.
Putin has already used his special forces and biker friends to replace over 30 mayors in the region. They are now asking to be protected from the Ukriane. The navy has defected.
My only question is will he get the whole country. So far no one has done anything. I think if no one challenges him with the freezing of assets of the elites he won’t stop. The billionaires have much more power over Vlad than Bambi and the EU
Ukraine doesn’t have a strong enough military force to go up against Russia....and they know it. I guarantee though, the Ukraine’s will get just enough blood flowing to force intervention by the International community.....like was attempted in Syria’s early war...you’ll see the thuggary enter the arena in short time, alive and active.
Best Putin puts a lid on it all..sooner the better. And he will to protect his Ports, Navy and Russian people there, though of course they are the last on his lists of concerns.
This is why Putin acted rapidly....he understands the “other” dingbats on the stage there and does not second guess them....as Obama always does.
Sorry but Ukranians should let Chemia remain Independant from them....that would resolve the situation immediately.
