Then you have to go to war now. What is it with these statements from the media and others. It is not an ‘intervention’, and it has already happened. They are there right now!
Meanwhile,Obama doesn’t think that there’s anything to worry about.If he did,maybe he would attend the security briefing.

But the Warsaw Pact was a military alliance of the Cold War era. The EU is not that. Ukraine was moving toward an economic alliance with Europe and Russia saw part of the Empire slipping away. I understand why Russia did not want to see that happen -- but it's not quite the same as Mexico joining the Warsaw Pact. This wasn't a military thing until Russia sent in troops.
Galician Nazis has a NATO membership as their dream, just like a Georgian dictator at the time.
We invaded Grenada to stop the Soviets from building a military base there.
So by aiding Georgia and Ukraine, is that not the same thing as what the Soviets were trying to do in our backyard?
