I wonder what you might say if the U.S. government went after people speaking Spanish.
This is a list of the supposed bills.
One of the promises Yanukovitch campaigned on in 2010 was the idea of allowing regional discretion in the official languages used, which was something the Tartars and other regional minorities wanted. In comparison one of the first things the puppet government in Kiev did after seizing Parliament was pass a law making Ukrainian the only official language.
Stop posting Russian propaganda without labelling it as much. Russia Today and Voice of Russia, along with Pravda, were founded by the Russian Government, funded by the Russian Government, and says exactly what the Russian Government wants you to hear.
Our street signs are now in Spanish in one area. The English signs have been removed. Upstate NY!! That’s going after Americans!!
I’m so glad our media is not like them.
Funny thing right now is that the Ukrainians are really mad at McCain and Kerry. Its hilarious. Theyre saying,
Who are these McCain and Kerry and why are they getting involved in Ukraine? Do they want to move here?
That’s neat.
Not a shot fired in Crimea and no “enemy” left. Cool.
If Russia deploys forces in Crimea, it would only be to prevent war - expert.
Mr. Soros, is that you?
Brawl breaks out in Ukrainian parliament in pictures
old news
So, if you are ok with Russian propaganda, you are ok with MSM propaganda in the US? Just curious.
Hope you have some hip boots, the propaganda is
getting deep!
You can tell Obama is a messiah, he’s able to
walk on propaganda with out sinking in the sh*t.
I’d be horrified. Why should the government go after people speaking Spanish?
Also, the US already did this. When New Mexico and Arizona became states, a concentrated effort was made to wipe out the speaking of Spanish. In fact, it took them decades to move from territories to states because US legislators regarded them as “too Spanish” and “too Catholic.” The extermination attempt didn’t work, of course, because there were Spanish speaking settlers in those states for some 200 years before the existence of the US, but the US certainly tried to do it.
But in general, you don’t understand what I’m saying. Ukraine has always had a fair number of Russian speakers, and as it transitioned to an independent country, many of them stayed. This is not a bad thing. But with typical nationalist over-kill, the Kiev nationalists attacked them, thus giving Russia the excuse it needed. It is claiming that its intervention is to protect Russians.
Russia Today is a source of information more trustworthy than CNN and NBC. I often counter-checked their news and RT won always, hands down.
Get over it. The Soviet Union ceased to exist 23 years ago, one whole generation.
Pravda with a new name.
Make sure you check under your bed for Mr. Soros tonight, like you do every other night.
the lamestream media would air feel-good stories about the underserved citizenry who benefitted from it
They want their country back from the Russian occupiers. Some of those bills are little bit ill-advised and over zealous. I understand why they want some of those done now, but I think it would be wiser to seek unity and avoid some of the more divisive items.
It’s funny, but all of the college kids “lambs” who were Soros’ Maidan stooges are freaking out because their revolutionary leaders who were on the streets are now wearing $2,000 suits and riding around in black Mercedes acting just like the same people they ousted. Now their only allies are the Bandera Nazis. Now they’re walking around confused in Kiev not knowing what to do. Too funny.
