This country is no longer the great country it once was. What we should learn from our recent military history is that the ‘Progressives’ are a huge anchor around the neck of American interests. Nature abhors a vacuum.
Conservatives know that we will be expected to clean up the mess the arrested development crew leaves behind. We will have to work harder (because they don’t want productive dirty work) for much less to maintain our current living standards.
If there was a revolution in Mexico and the upheaval came close to the US border, we'd sure send in the troops to protect our interests. Hell, we sent them half way around the world, unsolicited, to completely destabilize the Middle East and further the cause of Islam. Putin, you may recall, advised us against it and protested loudly. He didn't do anything mind you. Just called it a dangerous course of action.
Too bad we didn't listen to him. Three thousand Americans would still be alive and Iraq would still be a bulwark against radical Islam. We should confine our actions over Ukraine to verbals, also.
You're right. Not much difference between our 'liberal elites' and their 'thug elites'. Especially when elites function outside this country... The people of the world understand that...
Within the United States we're able to stop our liberal elites from becoming thug-elites by the force of our Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, traditions and founding Fathers' writing. We hold back the ocean...
