Perhaps, but I can also tell you through experience, that people have free will and teens make choices to be the kind of people they ultimately want to be. The leftist entitlement culture is powerful.
My father never worried about that problem. We feared my mother far more than my father. We trembled when she got angry, and if you dared to disrespect mom, you were risking some serious bodily injury.

True. I chose to be a virgin until marriage ‘cause I knew that certain death, compliments of my father, would be in my near future if I’d made a different choice.
