Excellent news!
“Sens. Kay Hagan (N.C.), Mary Landrieu (La.) and Mark Begich (Alaska) are all seen as vulnerable in this year’s midterms, but all three voted in favor of moving the nomination forward.”
GET THEM!
Nominee was defeated, but the thumb mark is still there.
Stunned. Pleasantly surprised.
Shows a lot about the Democrat Party if only 7 out of 53 voted against this nomination.
“Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) then switched his vote from yes to no in a move that allows him to bring the nomination up again for a future vote.”
I detest Reid.
Nuke ‘em from orbit.
Harry made them take this vote - let them burn on it..I would be running ads with just these two issues: voting for Commiecare & a cop killer defender. Should be enough to bring them all down..I mean, how can they defend this during a debate or town hall?
Oh wait, they probably won’t debate or hold any town halls.
Wow....surprising.
Ads on this, with the wife (I bet she’d do it), would be powerful.
Absolutely, he's a slimy little weasel. You'd think a real leader would take the vote as a signal the turkey is not wanted but then a real leader Dingy Harry isn't.
Reid is a danger to our country.
Why?
surprising that Hagan, Begich and Landrieu didn’t switch their vote when they saw the nomination would fail.
Very odd.
Chris Coons played this very smart.
Is there anything Reid won’t do for his master?
Some good news.
This crazed appointee will probably get a recess appointment from Obama.
But Reid was insane to put Shaheen, Begich, Hagan, and Landrieu out on a limb.
Great news. How long before old Harry the Scary tries to get rid of the filibuster for appointees?
Praise God!
I am finally happy!
Good news yesterday about the home-schooling family, and good news today. America must be praying!
