Sens. Kay Hagan (N.C.), Mary Landrieu (La.) and Mark Begich (Alaska) are all seen as vulnerable in this year's midterms, but all three voted in favor of moving the nomination forward. Good. All the more to use against these three.

Great news. How long before old Harry the Scary tries to get rid of the filibuster for appointees? That's what was thrown overboard when he went "nuclear."

Look for Obama to stick a thumb in our eye with a recess appointment.

How long before old Harry the Scary tries to get rid of the filibuster for appointees? Uh...months ago? It was in all the papers....

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) then switched his vote from yes to no in a move that allows him to bring the nomination up again for a future vote. Possibly AFTER the 2014 elections - depending upon the outcome, of course....
In any case, it's good news for now!

Every now and then they do the right thing. But the ratio is something like 1000 to 1.

Sadly you’re right. I pray we get the senate back, at least we’ll have a shot at fighting the turkey in the WH if RINOs don’t side with him.

‘Salright. Reid pisses me off, too. I’m really surprised he failed to get even 50 votes for this clown. I thought for sure he could clear the new threshold.

ir us still somewhat of a shock as I never thought I’d see that Senate oppose anything that had received the alleged “blessing”..of Barack Hussein Obama.
I like this Trend.
