For the most part me too. There was a place out in West Columbia called El Chico that was good. It caught fire for the second time a long while back and it seems like its future has been in limbo ever since.

What idiot at the company thought this was a smart thing to say?

Was there a pressing need?

“As a public company ... we are required to disclose any potential issues that could have potential impact on our business, and we do that very thoroughly.”

Now they need to make this announcement:

Special announcement to our stockholders. "Due to stupid global warming comments made today, Chipotle may lose business and have to shut down."

To be "very throrough," here is another upcoming announcement: "If it snows really hard, this may affect our sales by keeping our customers at home and may also increase our costs for clearing the snow. And, it there are earthquakes, our building might be damaged, which might affect our business. And if a crazed gunman comes into one of our stores and shoots our best customers, this will cut our sales."

we are seeing a lot of Buy Belize commercials on TV here . They show lots of tropical footage and always a shot of some older white guy walking with a dark skinned fox in a bikini .

You should see all the negative comments in the left leaning LA Times. Not a single comment supported that restaurant or its beliefs.

Making a big deal out of commentary in their Annual Report regarding possible risk factors.

I like their food. I don’t pay extra for avocados anyway, so it doesn’t matter to me. My wife does, so it might disappoint her.

It is a very successful American business. It is popular with little advertising.

The problem is not heat, but drought, which is more a result of California’s water management policies than anything else. However, if they were to mention this, they would be in much trouble from the state and federal governments.

Because we all know how bad warm weather is for avocados.

LOL. And for peppers.
