Senility is not pretty.
There’s a reason the Syrian arm of al Qeada didn’t bother decapitating this old fool.
I also found my own glorious mother-in-law (who my wife and I don't speak to - Mexico) actually like many others came in here and claimed amnesty by paying $600 to someone to fake her papers (fraud) to say she was here before and had a job. MIL came here AFTER the amnesty (as many others also did) after 30 years here she speaks no English still and manages food stamps, EBT, and maybe got herself on disability on our nickel.
Oh sure, what is wrong, please send more?
Reagan learned, to his dismay, that selective enforcement destroys Rule of Law, and that liberals are intentionally dishonest
I thought McCain, Kennedy and Biden voted against the 1986 amnesty because it was too harsh on enforcement.
Oh shut up McQueeg. Go find some of that duct tape that your wifie and daughter were so famous for ...
And the RAts also promised to tighten border security in exchange.
Reagan said it was his mistake. FU McDemocRat.
Even the devil can cite Reagan for his purpose.
You mean the 3 million that turned out to be three times that number, John?
Big mistake by Reagan. We lost Ca.
And to you McCain I say, don’t forget the democrats lied and cheated with the 1986 amnesty. And McCain, how about that 11th commandment? You spend more time bashing republicans than the democrats.
Do it again and we lose New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona.
Reagan was told it would be no more then 1.3 million and also that it would be the last amnesty.
It was 3 million (Kennedy lied, he knew that), no one understood that every amnestied illegal would bring in 3 more people legally, and Reagan also didn’t understand that this amnesty would encourage far more illegal immigration in hope of a new amnesty.
McCain is full of crap. Reagan regretted it and said so.

I noticed all the Republicans from New Mexico and Texas at the time voted no.
Liberals like McCain thought it was harsh.
That really solved the problem, didn't it?
