OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — South Puget Sound Community College says it was a mistake for an employee group to invite only people of color to a diversity "happy hour."
The group that sent out the email last week apologized the next day and canceled the event, said Kellie Purce Braseth, dean of college relations.
The invite made it clear white people were not welcome.

Interesting that they just canceled the event instead of inviting whites. If they couldn’t have their ‘diversity’ happy hour that excluded whites, they wouldn’t have one at all.

Kellie Purce Braseth probably wasn't given the position by any double-blind look at her achievements and qualifications alone. Probably a David Dinkins type of success, at best.
When I was a kid growing up in Washington in the fifties and sixties, I thought this state was a great place to live. Today, if I could afford to move, I’d be outta here by sundown. The liberal carpetbaggers have made this place uninhabitable. It now rivals, and in some cases has exceeded, California in unbridled moonbattiness.
We’ve elected only two Republican governors in the past sixty years and neither one of them was particularly conservative. I swear, the one we have now is mentally challenged. One look at how he has handled the Boeing situation is proof of that.

As I remember from my youth, Dixie Lee Ray wasn’t all that bad as a Dem governor, at least speaking common sense at the national level, compared say, to the woman CT governor about the same time.

You know what? I think banning whites from this group meeting was just fine. If I were a student there, there’s no way on earth I would even be REMOTELY interested in attending.
And, I’m sure, if I wanted to reciprocate, that there would be no problem.
Right?
So, is anyone going to be fired over this? Will anyone be required to attend sensitivity training?
Why not? I see TV ads here in NY for “Black Only” Dating sites.
If the sponsor had been a student organization, this would be problematic.
Since it was an employee organization, where are the terminations, mandatory diversity training, personnel file letters, investigations of those managing the errant employees?
