You’re right - it was Carlings.

Now I’m wondering why Naragansett tasted like pee.

In our day Sam Adams would be viewed as a radical Christian fundamentalist.

Sadly, the Sam Adams of our day is the very gay mayor of Portland, Oregon.

Sam Adams is spinning in his grave with the knowledge that his namesake brew has become Queer Beer!

Yeah well Sam Adams also had a contest a few years back, where people were given points for having sex in specific areas. Two gits decided to get the points for having sex in a Catholic Church (St Patrick's in fact)

Weird ending to it all as I recall. The male perp was found guilty and was to be sentenced. The day of the sentencing he died.

No one in the parade’s organization has said that a gay person can’t take part in the march. What they HAVE said is that gay activists are not welcome to engage in advocacy or tote political banners, because the parade isn’t about that. It’s about Irish heritage. No other group gets to turn the parade into a pet political cause, either.

Exactly right. Nobody gets to fly a "no new taxes!" or "end abortion" banner during St. Patrick's parade either (and no such groups would have the bad taste to try pulling such a stunt), so why should homosexual activists get to turn a day celebrating ethnic heritage into a political rally?

Jim K. can stuff it. I think his beer is overrated, anyway. Way too many bittering hops for my liking.

Here I have to disagree. If I have any complaint about their beer, is that it isn't hoppy enough. I never understood why flavorless dishwater like Bud Light define what "beer" should taste like to so many people.

“Don’t these people understand that a St. Pat’s Day parade is for Leprechauns, not fairies?”

Watch...it won’t be long before they proclaim that some historical, and even mythical leprechaun, was homosexual...in fortification of their right to fly their freak flag.

I mean, after all, we see how they have subjugated God’s rainbow to the deepest depths of perversion, and have since called it their own. Doesn’t it now make you wonder what REALLY IS at the end of the “rainbow”? These days, it couldn’t possibly BE a pot o’ gold.

Because it’s cheap and with today’s economy, one cannot be picky. Unlike some pricks who thumb their noses like they’re some beer experts, not a lot of people can afford booze nowadays...unless you’re on EBT.

Agreed! I hope the local (to Florida anyway) Oyster City beer will be good.
