Here’s my theory, based on my information that the aircraft is the long range variant 777 with extended range of ~7200 miles.
The plane was hijacked,
The passengers are dead,
It is being re-fueled to use as a flying bomb.
I have seen no reports that indicated that the aircraft held enough fuel to fly that far. Have you heard otherwise?

I agree and for some reason I am wondering about Israel being the target...
much less load if no passengers and cargo, carrying only a bomb, therefore longer range.
Singapore Airlines Airbus makes it from Newark to Singapore because its business class only, 100 passengers/luggage +crew.

I agree. An empty 777 200 model can fly for many, many hours. Could fly over the U.S., Israel. Loaded with a nuke, it could be detonated, hit with missiles, etc. while still in the air producing same results. Those 2 Iranians who carried only backpacks with their laptops on that flight. Stunk from the beginning.
I read on another forum that Australia has strongly suggested that it was something in the cargo which led to the hijack.
I don’t see why not. The Chinese islamic professor from Turkey was apparently able to fly it.

Exactly what I thought. One of the lunatics running Iran said recently that the hand was on the trigger to put an end to Israel.
I wondered if the plane was headed there and God pitched it into the ocean.
I remember the money so generously given to Indonesia, in particular Aceh, after the tsunami. Perhaps used to rebuild their airport, if they have one.

IMHO this is unlikely. It would be a very complex operation to do something like this and one that would probably be exposed. The same result could be accomplished through other, far easier means. An interesting theory but probabaly a bit too complicated to pull off.
They may repaint it and hip-hop it all over the place for cover, Iran, North Korea maybe for a nuke, Venezuela, Cuba.
It might end up right at our back door.
