This is from LIGNET so a large dose of salt needs to be applied.

Thank you for the salt - I am not familiar with the source.

Different sources keep saying it landed, but there is a contingent of FReepers that insist it crashed into the ocean without a trace of debris or other evidence.

Pakistan has shown many times just how duplicitous they can be but this plane was from a fellow Muslim country so I doubt it. Also I doubt there are any airfields in that part of Pakistan which could handle one of those planes.

I would keep my eyes on Israel - nothing goes on without them being “in the loop” or they’d have been wiped out long ago.

I am strongly in the camp that believes that I don’t know what happened with the plane.

Pakistan dismissed the idea that a Boeing 777 could land undetected inside the country

They didn't think a SEAL team could, either.

Hey Boeing, I’m calling from Al Queda, Pakistan.
You got any oil filters and brake pads for a 2002
triple 7-200?

There is some debris but the region is so vast that searching for a needle in a haystack would be easier.

Hard to believe that of the 239 cell phones on the plane, even with dead owners; not one has pinged on the ground or on the way to the ground.

If it landed in Pakistan what about the passengers. If they died onboard it would require a serious response.

I thought the 777 never “pinged” that its wheels were down...
