That would be wonderful — if John Roberts’ job was political. It is not.
His job is to decide cases based on their Constitutional merits, not to decide elections. Obamacare is arguably the most black-letter unconstitutional law the USSC has ruled upon in the last fifty years, and Roberts blew it. Plain and simple.
I don’t want the Supreme Court playing kingmaker. I want the Supreme Court protecting the document that protects my freedoms and the freedoms of my descendants. No more and certainly no less.
Amen!
Forget about impeaching Elmer Fudd - for now. Go after Pelosi and Reid 0 for fraud. Get these two and the rest will fall.
DeathCare is the biggest fraud ever conceived by the mind of man.
Third option:
A) Rig all close Senate elections
B) Blame GOP for ACA failures
C) Make Single Payer Hillary’s signature issue
RomneyCARE is coming, and will not go away.
THE GOP IS MARRIED TO ROMNEY’S “GAY MARRIAGE”
and “ROMNEYCARE/OBAMACARE”.
Interesting take on Justice Roberts thinking.
He does not appear to be a superficial man, nor a stupid one. Consequently, his machinations were baffling as well as disappointing.
Yes, your explanation has great possibilities of what a clever man could do while being blackmailed. . .
BTTT!
“The Democrats choice is to continue building evil coalitions for power politics to usurp illegal authority and build a tyranny.”
I have serious doubts that that is doable. Other people besides Putin are watching and learning how to push back against obuma and his paper tiger NWO thugs.
I’d love to see Pelousy and Dingy Harry removed FRom office. ‘Bout as much chance of that as there is impeaching Ophonybama.
Dingy is not up for re-election until 2016, and there is no way Pelousy will not be re-elected. Both are good to go until they go out feet first.
Both are liars, of course, and are guilty of (but never charged or convicted of) criminal behavior. Neither Pelousy nor Dingy particularly care much about the USA or the Constitution or the American people, but somehow, someway, they stay in power.
America will be a far, far better country when they are no longer holding office!
Fascinating take on Robert’s decision. I can’t recall what the Administration’s or the Democrat’s immediate reactions were at the time. If Roberts did as you describe, wouldn’t they have betrayed more of a panic at the complete scuttling of their plans?
Spot on.
Roberts blew it.
The reason(s) behind his decision don't matter.
I’ve been saying that for years; The Won knows that this country is the keystone in the arch of Western Civilization, and if he can destroy the keystone the whole thing comes crashing down.
