This way, you don’t overfly any country who proceeds to freak out, sending jets to intercept and identify the craft with no transponder.

Except an unidentified aircraft is probably going to encounter more skin-painting radar on the southern route -- at Diego Garcia and in an Arabian Sea full of U.S. Navy assets -- than going around the top.

Specifically, along the uninhabited and rough jungle country of the Burmese-Thailand border to The Hump, between Assam and China, then thru the Himalayas via Nepal and Tibet, and over the Karakorum Range into Northern Pakistan.

Largely unpopulated, limited radar surveillance and lots of mountains to hide in. There's a map on the airliner forum describing the route.

That’s good to hear. Did he reaffirm his views about the hijacking?

Yes correct I didn’t mean turn north immediately over the andamans.

My point is, fly there over water, then stay over water around the bottom of India, then back north.

Keeping ___ miles buffer against any land to avoid military freaking out.

The kenyan imposter who received no media questioning pertaining to the alleged termination of the previously deceased.

I heard on one of the news shows that India only turns on some of their radar some of the time. Have no idea if there is any truth to it. Seems bizarre considering the neighbors they have.

There are no current shots in google earth, all are months or years old.

Nor on Bing.

I once zoomed in on my office location on Bing and switched to their oblique "Bird's eye" photography, which allows views oriented north, south, east, and west. A landscaping job had recently been done on the parking lot. Some of the views showed the landscaping, and some didn't.

Somebody on a FNC show said last night that India shuts off their radar at night to save money. Don’t know if he was being sarcastic, but I did hear that.

He was not being sarcastic. I heard the same thing several times on cnn.

Nonsense, smokescreen, diversion.

The plane is at Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia

U.S. took the plane.

Boeing is in a competitive war with Airbus, with the 777 as their most potent product. Boeing does NOT want pieces of the plane found anywhere, which might indicate a fire, software glitch or other malfunction. For Boeing, an intact plane, even in terrorist hands, or no plane at all, are preferable outcomes. For that reason, Boeing wants no part of any CIA monkey business, planting parts in the ocean, etc. They logically are feeding the General the Pakistan scenario.

Some satellite views are not updated for years at a time. I’ve noticed that around the DC area.

Bingo, I’ve been hinting at this for days. After the 787 fiasco Boeing wants it to be a hijacking scenario.

They could theoretically collect all the cell phones and remove the batteries, but that probably would not work out in reality. Did they ask everyone for one phone and then search people and luggage for those who didn’t comply? This would not work. Phones would be left on and hit the towers.

They would have had to jam all comms because one sat phone on board would ruin the plot. I know that some flight crews carry them.
