Did they ever run DNA testing yet to figure these races out? According to the Bible, the Caananites [Children of Cain] built a city in Jericho [world’s first] and taught the world metalworking. I don't know Hebrew, but in the Greek Septuagint Cain's name is spelled with a K (kappa) and Canaan is spelled with a X (chi). The Bible has Canaan as one of the sons of Ham.

I read somewhere that the Kenites are connected to Cain but I'm not sure about that--there shouldn't have been any descendants of Cain left after the flood, if you follow the Biblical version of events.

I don't know where you would find any pure Canaanites or pure Phoenicians for DNA testing, unless maybe some DNA could be extracted from ancient graves.

Obama is trying to show that he is as strong as SAmson--he sent Kerry to talk to the Israelis. In other words he is trying to smite the Israelites with the jawbone of an ass.

Of course if he knew the Bible he would know that it was Philistines, the ancestors of the Palestinians, who were smitten with the jawbone of an ass.
