Each period is separated by political realignments over time.
More like turn the electricity off and in an instant, we’re back in the 19th century. Think about it, most everything uses electricity directly or indirectly.
Not very far down the road either.
Things to come .
This article exactly expresses my sentiments I had for quite some time. There is an old adage which states that there are only two things guarantied in life which are Death & Taxes I have added a third Death, Taxes & Things Can Not continue the Way They Are
Even so I am pretty optimistic by nature, it has become quite difficult to ignore a multitude of signs which are all around us and should tell us that there are changes in the wind, how severe remains to be seen.
It is not just here in the US, but appears to be a worldwide problem. The reasons which brought me to this conclusion are way too numerous to mention here with a good number of them harking back to a very poorly run and staffed government. Of course the public shares a good portion of the blame for the decline as well, due to ignorance, disinterest, greed and lack of knowledge. And many politicians have taken full advantage of this apathy like attitude.
It has been decades in the making and as much as I would like to see a turnaround for the better I just dont see any quick fixes. It appears when a society matures, sooner or later either intentionally or unintentionally it will meander towards, or acquire a self-defeating or destructive behavior for which there is no escape. This situation or condition was foreseen and predicted by fellow humans, considerably smarter and wiser than myself. I just hope that history will prove me wrong.
The fedgov elitists have a switch that goes from peace to riot.
All they have to do is turn the EBTs off.
I have a “switch” or two that keeps the EBT zombies from my door. I’ll bet you have one, as well.
BLOAT.
we run our cars for many years....my camry has over 200,000 miles....I’ve looked into newer cars and I like the Rav 4 or similar....but do people realize that these new cars on average run about $30,000?....how can people afford that?.....unless you want a big payment for several yrs...

From what I can gather, they afford them second-hand, and even then at the expense of having families. The negative birthrate is the most ominous economic indicator for the middle class.
This thread must be the sanitized thread/posts, regarding this article.

He’s not wrong. We are fast heading for a resolution conflict. Its going to be short and sharp. When the dust clears America will get back on track. We are one Bundy ranch away from the kickoff so hold onto your hat.
