The White House asked major TV networks for a prime-time slot for President Barack Obama’s Tuesday speech proclaiming Obamacare had reached its 7.1 million enrollment milestone, but network officials rebuffed the request.
Citing three sources familiar with the request, Buzzfeed reports that the broadcasters refused to make any accommodation, leaving Obama to host his address in the Rose Garden during the day while daytime talk shows were airing.

Most sources are reporting less than 1,000,000 (actually between 800,000 - 900,000). Who in there right mind would be the catalyst for such a false statement. Hey Barack,,,, I just UPSed your crying towel. BTW, how does it feel to be the world's top chronic liar?

Can I ask a stupid question about this?
Obama is spiking the football because 7 million people signed up for Obamacare.
But, we have been told that somewhere from 40 to 50 million Americans are uninsured.
Even if, for sake of argument, we say that all 7 million were uninsured before, don’t we still have tens of millions who are still uninsured today, in violation of the law? Which Democrats keep reminding us in their talking points is the law of the land, and of course we must respect all laws,????? Meaning that many millions who were allegedly to be helped by Obamacare have not done their civic duty and signed up for insurance?????
Some may think I’m being sarcastic or flippant, but I really fail to see the significance of 7 million having signed up, when there were at least 40 million uninsured who were supposed to be covered by insurance now.

7 million has probably not kept up with population growth since this law was enacted.
Will the White House punish NBC, ABC, and CBS? How dare they not give prime time to the president to address the nation.
They will maybe refuse to allow them access to the boy prince?
NO they cant do that..no more perks..and Parties at the Whitehouse.
It appears that the Boy Wonder is STUCK with this dilemma
maybe he can BEG THEM for more attention?
I can hardly blame the networks for not giving him the time.....
Nobody will watch him pontificate on a subject most American are sick to death of or outright hate...
Why Give up valuable airtime to have people turn the channel to something besides the boy king....
In a backhanded way they are helping him by not subjecting the American people to another victory lap by an out of touch and damaged POTUS ....
The way I see it, Barry is a lot like Yogi Berra. Remember, the NY Yankees catcher (for you youngsters) who coined such gems as “It ain’t over `til it’s over.” “You should go to other people’s funerals, or they won’t go to yours.” “It’s deja vu all over agin.” and others?
The country is saying, “What are you so happy about? We’re lost!”
And Barry Berra replies, “Yeah, but we’re making great time!”
And, “you may have lost, but I WON”. (And the biggest winner of all is Moochele...8 years of luxury, the best of everything, worth millions, and she can always divorce the chump).
They know he can only do more damage to a program already suffering greatly.

And there is a new wave of insurance cancellations coming, I hear.....the numbers never add up do they? Oh well, he did visit all 57 states!
The best is yet to come. These poor souls that are patients of pain management clinics are going to be hurting. But, it was what the majority that voted, voted for.

The significance is he can spout random numbers on any subject, talk about their importance, and news people will report them, even if they choose not to disrupt their bread and butter time to advertise for him.
The fleecing of America....look at how the insurance companies helped O plan their demise through Obamacare.
