Where were you when I was a Kid.
I have the opposite take: Why cant WOMEN learn to put the toilet seat UP??? I hate splashing on the seat when I pee late at night!
Rofl!!!
I read something awhile back about hair dye and about how profoundly it has changed western society.
We don’t “see” that many “old” people in our day to day lives. Why? A lot of women (and some men) color away the telltale “old age look” of gray. So unless you seriously “study” someone’s wrinkles/gait etc you cannot discern “old.”
When I was a kid, ALL the grandmas sported either super short permed hair OR (the ethnic ones) a gray bun. Today, I can count on one hand the number of natural hair (gray or otherwise) women that I know.
As someone who admits to coloring her hair since HS “better living thru chemistry.”
The Italians have a saying that is a Woman's home and the man works himself to death to support it.
A smart woman manipulates the relationship so that a small of the credit goes to the guy and feeds the ego of the guy.
Women are not taught those arts these days.
Can’t remember a time when I wasn’t invisible to women.
Probably the women who noticed you weren’t flirty.
When an unflirty woman notices a man, most of the time he isn’t paying enough attention, or maybe he’s too shy, to pick up on her very subtle hints that she is attracted to him.
Eventually some guy WILL notice her after others have been oblivious to a very good catch.
Boomer has nothing to do with it....

From my observation, there are a lot of selfish boomer women who have no respect for men, but I suspect that there are more of them who are like us.
I am frequently astounded by the way the younger women behave. The notion of respecting their husbands or any men is just a foreign to them.
Of course, many of them are shacking up, so I guess they are not going to show respect for their men if they have such a lack of respect for themselves.
That depends. When were you a kid?
That
The whining will end when they wake up on the wrong side of the grass. For sure.
I’m in my mid 30’s. The last three women I’ve dated are 40 (currently seeing), currently 30, and currently 35. I prefer someone reasonably close to my age. I’m not interested in someone half my age.
For guys, from teens to mid 20’s, you’re not noticed unless you are tall, handsome, and witty.
From mid 20’s to 40, you are finally noticed by women who spent their 20’s chasing the “hot” guys....

Really?
For women, from the teens to mid 20s, they are not noticed unless they are big busted and have long hair.
From mid 20s to 40, they are not noticed unless they are big busted and have long hair.
There are men on this site that go gaga over the blond bimbos on Fox, most of whom look as if someone stole the lower portion of their skirts. They even think Ann Coulter looks good just because she has long bleached blonde hair. IMO, she looks like a skinny man.
Just look, for instance, at all of the “not guilty’ comments that go around here. A good example of this ridiculous thinking is the photo someone posted here of Raquel Welch, who looks like she is in her 30s in the photo. The poster mentioned her age — I think it was 74.
Now does any sane person actually think that this woman just happens to look so good by just taking good care of herself through diet and exercise? Lord only knows how much work she’s had done. The bill for her beauty products is probably equal to the yearly income of a lot of people around here. But here she is held up as some ideal of beauty.
So please don’t talk as if it’s just women who are shallow.
husband would most definitely tell you that I worth it =

Ack! Should not be on FR in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep.
Along time ago. I forget the rhetorical name of your question but it is designed to draw out information with out revealing any on your part.
Did you try the Bread, misdirection, I do remember that one. :-)
I’m a very senior citizen amd spend a lot of time with others
A general rule.....
the men are gray and the women have their hair color of choice
Ack! Should not be on FR in the middle of the night when I cant sleep.
I could tell what you meant!
:-)
Yes, I’ve come across lots of women and men, boomer and not, who have no idea what respect means. Also, I just finished a couple of years attending college and met many young people who ARE respectful and courteous.
I don’t think people change very much. Seems like there are always good ones and bad ones.
Heh! Heh! Well, we ladies — especially the older ones —don’t like to reveal our ages if we can avoid it. :)
I forget, also, what that kind of question is called.
No, I did not try the bread yet. Been much too busy with gardening tasks lately, plus we are getting ready to go on a camping trip. But I definitely will try it in a few weeks, and I promise to let you know how it turns out. Thanks again for the links.
Thanks for the link, i’m gonna go check it out after dinner.
Thanks
