Jeb is more qualified than Hitlery, but frankly I am tired of the Bush and Clinton families.

Not wrong at all, Ted Cruz supported DOMA.

“”Worked with Attorney General Abbott to send a letter to Congress in support of the federal Defense of Marriage Act.””

Now Cruz is taking a different route to fighting gay marriage, and it involves more than just saying it is a state issue, Cruz is actually trying to find a way to block it nationally and in the federal government.

Part of being politically savvy is being able to choose who is fighting for you, and who is fighting against you.

Rand Paul is fighting to end GOP opposition to gay marriage, and to end social conservatism.

The economic implosion is coming - it's just a matter of time. Our leadership daily demonstrates how little respect they have for the American dollar. Giving away a billion here, a billion there and squandering millions more on personal vacations, parties and trips. Just this week it was announced a billion dollars is missing by the State Department. Where is the presidential outrage?

RINOs are nothing more than a trojan horse to a Hillary Clinton presidency. RINOs would rather see tea party and conservatives lose elections than to lose their edge with today's democrat party. They are impersonators, not legislators.

Full Definition of TROJAN HORSE: someone or something intended to defeat or subvert from within usually by deceptive means

That post is full of a number of lies, Paul did not go public to make a position statement, that the GOP has to accept votes from people who disagree with their platform, that is a silly claim, they will accept any and all votes.

Paul was saying to call off the fight for marriage and social conservatism, he keeps repeating that message of “evolving”.

As far as someone running for president and taking pro-gay marriage positions, are you denying that there is federal law regarding marriage at the federal level that affects many millions, and affects the cost and size of government?

Just this week it was announced a billion dollars is missing by the State Department.

It was SIX Billion. But your points are quite correct.

So if I read this correctly, the point of this article is that electing a progressive like Jeb Bush will be a disaster but electing a progressive like Hillary Clinton will be utopia. What a flaming pile of nonsensical manure.

Apparently you did not read the article. Hillary is not mentioned. Is that you Karl Rove?

The author is 100% correct.

Do you honestly think that the end result of Bush would be any differently than Hillary? They are both Statists. They worship at the Alter of State Power.

Rand Paul Says He Believes in the "Historic and Religious" Definition of Marriage Between a Man and Woman; Kentucky AG Won't Appeal Marriage Ruling

"I believe in the historic and religious definition of marriage. I also believe this power belongs to the states and the people, not the federal government. It is illegitimate for the federal courts to intrude here."

"Socially Liberal" Rand Paul Is A Media Creation

To be sure, Paul opposes a federal marriage amendment and has urged the GOP, for strategic reasons, not to emphasize social issues. But he remains a steadfast supporter of state marriage equality bans, recently condemning as "illegitimate" a Kentucky court ruling against the state's marriage ban and reaffirming "the historic and religious definition of marriage."

As for RealClearPolitics' statement that Paul "largely" agrees with his father on social issues - there's no "largely" about it. According to his chief of staff, Paul opposes abortion in all instances except "to save the life of the mother." While Paul's office skirts the question of whether he supports exceptions for rape or incest, he's on the record opposing such exceptions. And Paul doesn't just oppose marriage equality. He has taken to anti-gay extremist Bryan Fischer's radio show to discuss the topic, and in remarks he later said were a joke, Paul has compared same-sex marriage with polygamy and bestiality.

On other hot-button issues, Paul's rhetoric dovetails with that of other conservatives. Under the Obama administration, Paul charges, U.S. taxpayers are funding an international "war on Christianity." Speaking before the Christian Homeschool Educators of Kentucky in 2010, Paul appealed to young-earth creationists, refusing to say how old he believes the earth is.

What has Paul, who is a Senator, and running for the highest federal office, done to fight gay marriage in the federal government that he is running to lead?

Has Paul come out to support Cruz’s effort to block some of the gay marriages at the federal level, did Paul support the first DOMA, like Cruz did, or did Paul oppose it?

Does Paul support a constitutional amendment to protect marriage?

Cruz is fighting for marriage, and fighting it at any and every level that he can, Paul is calling for us to accept gay marriage and remove it from our platform.

Read it, Rand Paul is playing the libertarian in Kentucky game, nothing he is doing or supports, will stop gay marriage at the federal level, the government that he is running for.

Paul reveals his true position on gay marriage when he calls for the GOP to drop it, and describes it as an obstacle.

Paul is telling the American voters who oppose gay marriage, to “evolve” and accept it, to drop it as a political issue.

Here is your proof, it has already been posted on this thread.

“I think that the Republican Party, in order to get bigger, will have to agree to disagree on social issues,” Paul advised. “The Republican Party is not going to give up on having quite a few people who do believe in traditional marriage. But the Republican Party also has to find a place for young people and others who don’t want to be festooned by those issues.”

That is a call to drop the social issues, to do that means to drop them from the platform, not to just not campaign as republicans, when social liberals are looking or attending the meetings and rallies and speeches.

The Bush family needs to go away for ever. Jeb will be the choice of the GOPe and MAY be nominated though he stands an almost zero chance of being elected.

But ushering in Armageddon? Please. That’s silly.

Jeb Bush is mentally unstable and a weakling except when it comes to pushing for perks for illegal aliens. He is no match for Putin.

************

No. As a governor he was punked by a state district judge. He is no match for any serious authority. His smuggler wife might do better, but then customs officials were able to handle her. Never mind.

In 1995, the Democratic Socialists of America took control of the AFL-CIO, and thus control of the Democrat party.

The Democrat party is now a Marxist “party”—i.e., a criminal conspiracy to overthrow the U.S. Constitution. I.e., it is NOT a political party in the traditional sense, just as the Communist Party in any one-party state is not a true political party.

Any Republican who refuses to declare publicly that the Democrat party is a criminal conspiracy that has placed an illegal alien in the White House is a trimmer, a coward, a
wimp. There should be UNANIMITY on this point from all Republican candidates for Senate, House, and the Presidency.

Some “Republicans” are not merely wimps, or “moderates,” but are fully committed to the same goals as the Communist conspirators. Namely, Jeb Bush, the murderer of Terri Schiavo, supporter of overwhelming the U.S. Constitution with open borders and amnesty, of totalitarian rule by the federal government.

Jeff Bush loves undocumented immigrants, but, where is his love for the millions of Americans unemployed? There are 91 million Americans out of the work force. Thanks to Obama we have the lowest participation in the work force since the 1970’s and some demagogues want to open wide our borders to hundreds of millions around the world who would love to enjoy the American dream... but that dream is becoming in an American nightmare for those born here and those who came legally to enjoy our way of life loving the U.S. as much as their country of birth.

What is even more aggravating is that people who entered the country illegally are demanding rights and privileges that American citizens do not enjoy and they did not dare to demand from the government of their own country.

California used to be the richest state of America. Now it is almost bankrupt. Anybody can see the result of uncontrolled illegal immigration, and companies are leaving to Texas, Florida and other red states with less taxes and better incentives to invest and prosper.

In fact, unemployment is now lower in Mexico than in U.S.; perhaps Americans will start moving south.
