New survey numbers from Rasmussen show public opinion turning slowly against the Boy Scouts. Though most Americans still view them favorably, their numbers continue in a perennial trend of decline.
The national poll taken by telephone shows 59% of Americans still view the Boy Scouts at least "somewhat" favorably, this represents a decline of six percentage points from last May and a 14 point decline from February, 2012. Twenty-eight percent view the Boy Scouts unfavorably.

Many of the boys migrated to other units

I’m an Eagle Scout but I don’t have my sons participate in scouting. They have moved too far left.
this is a direct result of Obama being elected. It empowered the grievance mongers and we now have a social environment, very hostile to the USA being fueled by the CinC..

Not necessarily - many of the troops are set up such that when the troop disbands, the assets go to the sponsoring organization, who is free to sponsor another organization, like a Trail Life Troop.

Had the BSA not allowed the first, the second would still be accepted or defendable. Religion is under the same assault.
In fact, I can't think of a single American ideal, virtue or admired institution that's not under assault or hasn't already fallen.

Sorry, I don’t believe that to be even remotely true...Trail Life is filling a void left by the BSA, actually, one the BSA abandoned...it may not grow as large as the BSA once was, but it will survive and thrive...bigger isn’t always better.
The BSA went after “bigger” and in doing so, had to sell their morals and values to the highest corporate bidder...this is the result...queers in the BSA, a loss of morals and values.
The BSA will adopt homosexual adult leaders once Robert Gates takes the helm at National...it’s what he’s “famous” for when in the DoD...
Let me ask you a question, you say with a certain air of certainty that there are “no 11 or 13 year old queer Scouts”...you know that for certain? You really do? Cause I have a question for you then; When do they turn into queers?
Why is it ok for a 17 years, 364 days old queer Scout to tent with an 11 year old hetero, but it’s not ok for an 18 year old hetero Scout to tent with his 17 years and 364 days old hetero best friend?

Hard to believe he used to be president of the very conservative Texas A&M University.
And it is dying because of the gay mafia. It makes one feel nauseous.
