At first the local sheriff said he wouldn’t get involved. But the local news this morning says he’s on his way out there. The Fedz can’t legally act without the blessing of the local elected sheriff. Could be the county mounty decided he’s better get off his butt now or spend a lot of time in hearings later. And I’m guessing the local sheriff is more popular than Harry Reid is in them parts. The lack of the local authority getting off their buttz was a problem at both Ruby Ridge and Waco.

Likely, since the troops are already there, so why send em home, and then call em back for a later incursion. Costly to house and feed for a few weeks, so wait for the protesters to disperse and hit em at night. It has already cost far more than the unpaid fees.
