Cryptic responses like yours always require a follow-on so here goes.

Why do I have to qualify my reaction?

I probably read at least a book per week and have done so for about 50 years. I can be having a conversation and a word will pop into my head. I have read this word countless times and it just seems natural using it, but lo and behold when I start to speak it I realize I’m stumbling because I have never spoken it before.

I watched the vid. What an embarrassment. Ignorance aplenty, yet I feel sorry for the guy, maybe he will learn something in college that he should have learned in elementary school.

I still cringe at my screw up in 6th grade, pronouncing Yosemite as “yoze might.” I had moved from Va to NC, and we were WAY ahead of the NC class when I got there. The teacher was pleasant, but not stellar. Being the jerk I was I corrected her a couple of times.

Needless to say, she joined the students in what seemed like an hour long laugh at my expense when I screwed up Yosemite. I still hate Yosemite Sam to this day.

I 100% guarantee I will not have a Black nor Hispanic doctor or lawyer. I will choose an ex-pat, who I know had to COMPETE for entry and passage, first.

That isn’t racism, it is recognizing the harm AFA does

Only a liberal would see that as racism, a conservative calls it "common sense".

LOL at the Yoze Might. Years ago while camping at Yosemite, a car pulls over ( it had Pennsylvania plates) and the woman asked us how to get to Yoze Might Falls. Between her accent and Yoze Might , it took us a few seconds to figure it out.

"heavily influenced by the Appalachian dialect"

It used to be more of a Whiskey Rebellion "dialect"...

>>Only a liberal would see that as racism, a conservative calls it “common sense”.<<

Take a liberal who needs surgery.

Take a scalpel.

Bring in 2 doctors.

Doctor A — white, standard admission, passed boards
Doctor B — Black, AFA admission, special tutoring, special exemption board passage

Hand said liberal scalpel.

One word: “choose.”

Wanna guess?

This makes no sense. Do you know what ex-pat even means?

I meant legal immigrant. They have to work 200% harder to make it through the US medical system.

Ex-pat from THEIR country, not ours.
