If there’s a silver lining to Obama’s presidency it’s that we, as taxpayers, get to pay for his indiscretions for the rest of his natural life.
I’m genuinely interested to see how messed up Obama becomes once he’s out. Does he get divorced? Does he come out as a homosexual Muslim pot addict? Does he go the Clinton route and do speeches around the world to critical acclaim by his adoring masses? Does he go into hiding? It’ll be interesting to watch.
At least GW has talent.

He does have talent. But not overweening talent.

He may consider that “Private”...I’m sure he did one.

Those bottom three look like he’s painting Zombies from the Walking Dead show.

Liberal critics of Bush’s art secretly hate themselves for realizing it’s good.

I think President Bush does it to focus.
Michaelangelo was a natural. You can picture Mikie drawing on every wall in the house starting with finger painting. Bet he kept his mother busy.

You ask what obama has produced? Well, other than overall misery for our country, I bet he can draw cute little stick men in high heels to (represent diversity).

Not being an art critic I stand ready to be completely toasted, but Bush seems to have captured his subjects in their eyes. Even his relaxed self-portrait doesn’t lack from understanding of how his own eyes convey meaning and depth of character.
OK
Flame away...

The consistent characteristic in all of Bush’s paintings is the instantly recognizable likenesses, epitomized by the portrait of George H.W. bush.

I love his portraits! They are not professional but he has captured the expression of every one and that is the hardest part.

I just like the fact that Bush is willing to take his artwork public despite knowing it’s far from polished, and knowing that he’ll be derided for it by the usual suspects. He’s like Reagan in that he has a very centered kind of humility about him.
To: SeekAndFind
I’d like to see Bush do a portrait of King Barry.

The eyes are the window tot he soul and that is what he saw sitting across from them.

He should take up photography and start with a picture of Michael Moore in a jar of urine. That would set the Beltway circle jerk to wagging.
