It is absurd to think we still have a republic.
But hey, just keep voting every two years and our freedoms will be restored.

I’m wondering when this will happen to Christian health sharing ministries.

Change the “rules”? Whatever happened to “laws”, which fall under the scope of Congress and states?

We will run out of doctors well before all of this takes effect...
Too many will not be able to support this socialized healthcare system...

We don’t have one, haven’t for some years. Hussein is going to make sure that those who are productive are forced to live at the same level as the parasites, except for the self-appointed “elite”. When the incentives to be productive are removed from all except the leeches at the very top, and the remaining product of the productive is handed over to the leeches at the bottom, they will have achieved their goal.

“Im wondering when this will happen to Christian health sharing ministries.”
I suspect that’s who this administration is targeting.
To: Jim Robinson
Fixed indemnity plans, which pay insured customers a set amount towards medical expenses and are often cost-effective relative to more comprehensive health insurance, are popular forms of coverage, and potentially becoming more popular in the wake of Obamacare. Health insurance industry representatives say that fixed indemnity plans have been attracting more interest as many Americans look for a way to mitigate against the high deductibles applicable to many insurance policies available on the Obamacare exchanges (fixed indemnity plans are not Obamacare-compliant, but they are seen by some consumers as pairing nicely with Obamacare-compliant insurance).
But the HHS rule would effectively ban them, overriding regulation that has up until now been the preserve of state governments. The rule would state that these plans can only be sold to consumers where that consumer also purchases Obamacare-compliant insurance.

The rule would state that these plans can only be sold to consumers where that consumer also purchases Obamacare-compliant insurance. But paying the tax also makes a person "compliant" with the health care mandate, does it not?

No one should be surprised that these Marxists are taking away freedom. It’s what Communists do.
To: txrefugee
Yup. And the extreme Marxist/fascist B. Hussein Obama has put the slide into communism on steroids.
